Clooney was hilarious in O Brother, Where Art Thou? "Damn! We're in a tight spot!"
He was absolutely perfect for that role
The Raid 2 fuckin' cool as fuck. great movie. god damn
In the Loop Razor sharp political satire that is based on the New Labour years of spin and media damage limitation. It's in a similar vein to Yes Minister but has more teeth. Peter Capaldi shines as Malcolm Tucker who verbally assaults anybody in his way. After watching this you do hopoe that politics hasn't quite got as bad as this and some integrity does exist at the top of power. The question is, who really has the power. Speaking of Malcolm Tucker....
literally took less than two minutes to find out. was a massive homophobe in one of the threads, got perma'd, and alts of permabanned users are always banned because, y'know, they're already banned.
There's always some pedophile cunt who reads some slanderous bullshit and repeats it as fact. The reason I'm banned is because I say what I fucking want and call out a retard when I see one regardless of whatever colour their name shows up as on here. Next time you decide you slander my fine reputation I'll skin you and wear you as a fucking coat in the fucking mirror whilst masterbating to the dying screams of your family. Was that a bit too strong? Fuckity bye.
don't quote me!!
I got it, you just look like a plonker btw has anyone on here seen Paprika? I'm thinking of giving it a go since it's directed by the guy who did Perfect Blue, but I haven't really seen anyone talk about it (User was banned for this post ("Please don't feed the troll" - Blazyd))
still love mickey rourkes ugly mug too.
I think genuinely he's got the potential to be one of the greats but these days noone can pull up the script and cast him for a great role. check this out: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092563/ Noone's heard of it but it's really good stuff.
i remember mickey had a role for the thin red line and was cast specifically for it because of some tough times he was going through, and terrence malick ended up just cutting him out. he was pissed off about it for a while
A lot of people got pissed with Malick after that. Adrien Brody was onscreen for practically 4 minutes and was convinced all while shooting that he had the leading role.
there were a lot of people in that movie that had little to no importance is there a fan edit that puts back in deleted scenes like rourke's?

Satoshi Kon is a genius.
A lot of people got pissed with Malick after that. It's Malick's trademark - he leaves actors out of the film regardless of their fame or status. Brody should be glad that he at least saw himself in that film, Gary Oldman, Viggo Mortensen, Martin Sheen and Bill Pullman didn't get that privilige, despite acting in it like everyone else.
who gets actors like that then cuts them out
too bad malick is a fraudulent hack
too bad malick is a fraudulent hack
how so, besides being a hack
his movies are bad, pseudo intellectual arthouse on hollywood budgets and he has no idea what he's doing and can't write to save his life
District 9 8/10 Very underrated movie.
District 9 8/10 Very underrated movie.
its not underrated at all
22 Jump Street - 7/10 Oh my god I can't believe how right they did this film. They poked fun at all the cliches of sequels, while still following them themselves. It's more of the same, which was perfectly fine for me since I loved 21, but still felt fresh. End credits were A+ as well. Godzilla (2014) - 6/10 At first I was sad that I missed out on this in theaters, but it ended up being a pretty mediocre film. I couldn't care less about the main characters, and Godzilla himself had barely any screen time. Shame. Still better than the 2000 one though obviously. Guardians of the Galaxy - 7.5/10 I thought I would enjoy this more than I did. Still a fun film though. Kinda reminded me of firefly, farscape or some other cheesy comedy/scifi hybrid. I think a second viewing might make me appreciate it more, since it's one of those films with so much visual shit thrown in your face at the same time. Especially the spaceship/battle scenes.
his movies are bad, pseudo intellectual arthouse on hollywood budgets and he has no idea what he's doing and can't write to save his life
I'd have argued against this before but no rusty is literally correct malick genuinely has never been able to make a movie properly like on days of heaven he had a script and started shooting with it but then he realised it didn't work he gave up and just filmed random shit for weeks that kinda fit together and spent 2 years straight trying to edit it but realised it made no sense then he copped out and put voice over through the entire goddamn movie to tell the story cos he fucked up so bad like similar things happen every single movie (voice-over is an amateur copout move and is pretty hard to justify. Malick uses cheesy as hell voice-over all the time because he has no other way to tell a story or idea enough to go without.). I actually find it hard to say he's a good director cos of stuff like this. He's a visionary and a unique and pretty wonderful mind with a fantastic eye for visuals and writes pretty lovely stuff but he cannot create a coherent film and has to just mess around til it somehow works (and whether it works is down to the viewer) the editing if the thin red line is ridiculously amateurish and terrible. What kind of professional hires big actors and films enough stuff for so many different characters that they think they're leading in having a major part in the film then just cuts them out and still makes a big ass almost 3 hour movie like aside how unprofessional it is it shows again how bad he is at proper writing and structure and that he has no idea what he's doing right up until the film's finished in edit. and that he always tries, until recently, to properly construct a narrative, shows that these films are never what he's wanted and they fell together through far more work than necessary because malick could not keep things going how they should have. It's not even like an opinion thing about his movies because I actually think they for the most part work, I like his stuff. But malick is just really really unprofessional and bad in many aspects.
I watched fucking Lucy because my friends wanted to watch it. Jesus christ. Fuck me. Even they, the typical people who watch movies for the sake of watching it, hates it. The story is fucking terrible, the action is shit. Even if you want to turn off your brain to watch the action, its fucking short. Was probably like 15 mins or so. Also, scarlett johansson trying to explain the 'science stuff' was a turn off. It made her even less sexier. Please avoid this movie thanks. Was a mistake joining my friends. 2/10
luc besson sucks
Yeah. I think the movie could actually be a guise just so he can fucking travel like Adam Sandler. How the fuck is Taiwan suddenly linked to Paris, France?
luc besson sucks
When did the guy who made The Professional and The Fifth Element go so wrong?
literally right after The Fifth Element came out he has done nothing but churn out really bad generic action trash
luc besson sucks
taxi was fun
