I just saw Divergent it was shit
Target-Group oriented stories and movies suck? NO WAY! But seriously, I've got a 23year old friend and she fucking loves that shit.
Target-Group oriented stories and movies suck? NO WAY! But seriously, I've got a 23year old friend and she fucking loves that shit.
I have a friend who's a massive sucker for Johnny Depp. She actually believes Depp has been doing completely different roles in every single movie he's been in in the past fourteen years. Because apparently being a doofus weirdo comic relief character who does the googly eyes is a completely different role if you're a pirate, a native american or a chocolate factory owner. Oh and she didn't even know Tim Burton's chocolate factory was a remake and she refuses to even acknowledge the first movie or consider the idea that it may be better than burton's slogfest.
'what was so good about it' ok, ill rattle you off a list. fantastic dialogue, incredibly tense scenes, beautifully shot and acted, engaging plot, great humour, great shootouts and typical tarantino directorial flair do u want more
the dialogue, tense scenes and acting were all good, but again, were they any better than what you see in literally every other tarantino movie? and the engaging plot- seriously? i sighed as soon as the plot was presented to me because it was so bland and uninteresting. i'll give you the cinematography and humor but honestly that's all i really liked about that movie
Can we talk about "Can A Song Save Your Life" and how produced and mediocre it was? [editline]24th September 2014[/editline] Oh fuck it's called "Begin Again" in other countries. What a retarded namechange. [editline]24th September 2014[/editline] Also for anyone who likes Enemy, it's an awesome opportunity to get into the books of the guy who wrote the book it's based on. It's really really great literature, very demanding but one of the smartest writers that ever existed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Double_(Saramago_novel)
?
fuuuuuck nah i'm talking about the korean monster movie made by the director of Snowpiercer, and stars the korean father daughter duo in that movie as a father and daughter duo again. Very funny, very sad. I kinda wish Joon-ho Bong got to direct the new Godzilla movie.
[sp]tbh ive seen korean the host and i didnt like it[/sp] though i did see it dubbed and it was one of the worst dubbing jobs ive ever heard
The Last Airbender- 0/10 I know this is a bold statement, but this is the worst movie M. Night ever made. [editline]24th September 2014[/editline] At least Devil kept your attention with its stupidity.
that title goes to the village or lady in the water.
I recently saw the The Maze Runner and it was pretty forgettable. Just another attempt to find new Twilight/Hunger Games. Right now though I finished watching Enemy and I feel like these super symbolic movies aren't for me. Can someone in detail and in spoilers tell me what is the meaning of the movie?
Right now though I finished watching Enemy and I feel like these super symbolic movies aren't for me. Can someone in detail and in spoilers tell me what is the meaning of the movie?
no. use yer loaf it's not difficult once the arachnid issue becomes clear. [editline]24th September 2014[/editline] there are dozens of interpretations on the web f you can't be arsed tho
Okay, I get it now.
Commando - 8/10 Such a great stupid little movie.
Commando - 8/10 Such a great stupid little movie.
"I can't believe this macho bullshit!" is such a brilliantly self-aware line.
the dialogue, tense scenes and acting were all good, but again, were they any better than what you see in literally every other tarantino movie? and the engaging plot- seriously? i sighed as soon as the plot was presented to me because it was so bland and uninteresting. i'll give you the cinematography and humor but honestly that's all i really liked about that movie
well, you're wrong, and i hope you come to terms with it
what was wrong with django's plot? while being a tribute to westerns it was still unique and played its own game very well.
django owns Moon: 8.5/10 True Romance 9/10
The Fault In Our Stars 8/10 I cried in the end.
just saw Confessions, the Japanese movie from 2010. It was pretty good. The [sp]nosebleed[/sp] at the end was kinda unnecessary, but other than that it was a top film.
The Fault In Our Stars 8/10 I cried in the end.
did u cry because u watched it alone
The Fault In Our Stars 8/10 I cried in the end.
Me too [sp]because I hated it so, so much[/sp]
John Green is an A-grade fuckboy
The Royal Tenenbaums 5/5 Felt like watching this one again after reading an article about it. Odd to think that Gene Hackman hated working on it and hated Wes. Both Anejelica Huston and Bill Murray had to step in and intervene between the two at times, and more often than not Bill would show up on set even when he wasn't needed just in case something happened. Even so, it's such a great film.
The Drop - 9/10 Man this film was amazing. There was this constant atmosphere of "what the hell is going on".
did u cry because u watched it alone
maybe
Finally got around to watching Reservoir Dogs last night. 9/10 its meh
Edge of Tomorrow Good movie but the ending made absolutely no sense.
[sp]he got smothered in the blood from the omega causing a final reset, i'm pretty sure omegas and alphas are a little different.[/sp]
[sp]he got smothered in the blood from the omega causing a final reset, i'm pretty sure omegas and alphas are a little different.[/sp]
That's not the part that made no sense.
That's not the part that made no sense.
What then? That was the whole ending.
What then? That was the whole ending.
[sp]There is no reason why the brain would stay dead after whatever the fuck happened to reset the day.[/sp]
