[sp]There is no reason why the brain would stay dead after whatever the fuck happened to reset the day.[/sp]
Alien Magic Also it doesn't matter for the general plot and message
Alien Magic Also it doesn't matter for the general plot and message
"the ending sucked and didnt make sense but it doesnt matter"
You know a movie can be about the journey, not the destination. See: Children of Men, The Road, The Book of Eli, Citizen Kane, etc.
"the ending sucked and didnt make sense but it doesnt matter"
pretty sure u like godzilla 2014 and that's ur excuse for the whole film
pretty sure u like godzilla 2014 and that's ur excuse for the whole film
i said i liked the movie though its just the last two minutes i have an issue with
Frozen infinity/10
[sp]There is no reason why the brain would stay dead after whatever the fuck happened to reset the day.[/sp]
[sp]But they very specifically explained that, they destroyed the thing that makes it keep resetting.[/sp]
[sp]But they very specifically explained that, they destroyed the thing that makes it keep resetting.[/sp]
but then it would have reset to before they destroyed it
but then it would have reset to before they destroyed it
No, they destroyed what makes it reset, I just said exactly that.
No, they destroyed what makes it reset, I just said exactly that.
but then time resets anyway?
but then time resets anyway?
[sp]Yeah, for Tom Cruise, since he got that stuff over him, it doesn't reset for the alien core thing[/sp]
[sp]Yeah, for Tom Cruise, since he got that stuff over him, it doesn't reset for the alien core thing[/sp]
why
why
lol you could just as easily ask "why do they have the power to reset time in the first place"
why
[sp]because it's a deus ex moment, every sci-fi story is allowed that one unexplained thing because fuck you that's why. also, you have to have the blood in you to reset, and the omega lost all its magic blood and instead it engulfed tom cruise, so it's not even a deus ex moment, it's just a simple ending that you didn't seem to understand.[/sp]

Okay.
You yourself even say it isn't explained then call me out on not understanding. Okay.
but then i explained it
but then i explained it
saying "the blood touched him" isnt an explanation
saying "the blood touched him" isnt an explanation
but that's what happened [sp]the grenades were activated, went into the omega's mouth/pouch thing, they exploded, the omega started heavily bleeding out and the blood engulfed tom cruise as he slowly died (JUST AS IT DID IN THE BEGINNING OF THE FILM YA DUNCE), allowing him to reset.[/sp]
but that's what happened [sp]the grenades were activated, went into the omega's mouth/pouch thing, they exploded, the omega started heavily bleeding out and the blood engulfed tom cruise as he slowly died (JUST AS IT DID IN THE BEGINNING OF THE FILM YA DUNCE), allowing him to reset.[/sp]
that part isnt the confusing part the confusing part is why the rules suddenly changed for no raisin
that part isnt the confusing part the confusing part is why the rules suddenly changed for no raisin
But they don't, at all. [sp]The alien omega thing can reset time. If any of that blood or whatever gets on someone, they can also reset time. The omega thing gets destroyed so it can't reset, but the stuff gets on Tom Cruise so he can reset one last time.[/sp]
Blue Velvet 4/5 Bizarre, but it keeps you in knots the whole way through.
9/10 but i kept getting annoyed at the tactics that the army used, it was just dumb.
there's a shot in this movie of an afghan man struggling to open a capri sun pouch and i don't know why, but it makes me really sad
Yeah, it really shows you how underdeveloped these countries are (they don't even have electricity running so there are no lights). Will watch the follow-up, Korengal, tomorrow.
But they don't, at all. [sp]The alien omega thing can reset time. If any of that blood or whatever gets on someone, they can also reset time. The omega thing gets destroyed so it can't reset, but the stuff gets on Tom Cruise so he can reset one last time.[/sp]
but there is still no reason why the omega stayed dead once time reset by that logic everyone who died on the beach would have stayed dead each time it reset
the one flaw in the ending is that the omega core or whatever technically [sp]should have respawned too when tom cruise's death reset time again. the fact that everything else did but the omega didn't makes no sense in the movie's logic and iirc they don't give a reason as to why the core suffers from permadeath but nothing else does.[/sp] i still really liked the movie, and most of the ending is explained. but there are still some plotholes.
i still definitely think the ending should have been [sp] cutting to the credits as tom cruise is engulfed in the blood [/sp] that'd be a good inception type ending where the viewers have to think and come to their own conclusions.

apparently the original ending was going to be [sp]when they are on the gunship and tom cruise gives his speech, he says this one line and then it repeats itself where he says the line a little different and one of the other soldiers realized that he was now resetting.[/sp]
i get what you're saying but i dont think the film was catered to that kind of audience
true, if that actually was the ending a lot of people i know would probably be like "wtf that's it? shit ending"
