District 9 is good but its message wasn't too subtle, but then again neither was Interstellars.
And [sp]Black alien goo fuel can change a human into a prawn, which includes completely changing the persons bone structure. If he turned into some horrible Jeff Goldblum The Fly type hybrid, that would have been better IMO[/sp]
still better than [sp]fifth-dimensional future humans discover how to make time their bitch through gravity and wormholes and thus the answer to everything was on a bookshelf all along[/sp]
interstellar literally used [sp]love is the answer and conquers all and solves everything[/sp] so like......
The Hobbit (Five Armies):
6/10, would not re-watch.
Donnie Brasco
8/10
Very nice pair of leading men
Zodiac; 8/10
A very long movie, but definitely a great one.

Time is a flat circle lol
[sp]aren't all circles flat though[/sp]
if you think about it, jake gyllenhaal really hasn't made a bad movie
Bubble Boy.
don't forget spiderman 3
He wasn't in that.

I realized that the larger the battles are in Peter Jackson's movies, the less interesting they are. I thought the barrel fight in Smaug was entertaining, but I don't remember anything specific in this one besides the final confrontation between Thorin and Azog.

i don't know what everyone was complaining about, i actually enjoyed this a bunch. i also really liked how [sp]the plagues were given a more realistic concept to them, though cgi crocodiles were silly.[/sp]
like 7/10 would be my highest but all the negativity that i'm seeing is just nonsense because of muh faith. it's a movie and therefore an adaptation and obviously not 100% correct, or else everyone would be black.
The Imitation Game.
9.8/10
What a brilliant movie about a man that people should know more about.
umm no he played dr connors??

While we're kind of on the topic of Jake Gyllenhaal and Spiderman, he was almost cast as Peter Parker in Spiderman 2, because Tobey Maguire injured his back.

As neat as that would've been, I'm not sure even he could've sold 'groovy' Peter in 3.

if it was made nowadays he totally could
maybe not then, but definitely now.
Silver Linings 8.5/10
Real feel-good movie. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence have great chemistry, and they're both stunning actors. Didn't like the movie at first, but it warmed up after the first 30 minutes. Really enjoyed it and it made me feel all squishy. Jen Lawrence is also cute as a fucking button.

he couldn't play Peter Parker now. He looks too old and manly.

Have Bruce Campbell give on-set tips and pointers.
The Babadook
7.5/10
Pretty chill, pretty chill
Also, Neil Blomkamp supposedly was working on a secret Alien film

Interesting, if true
The Quiet Ones - 5/10
Annabelle - 2/10
Neighbors - 6/10
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For - 5/10 Not at all as good as the original Sin City movie, but it's alright
Lucy - 3/10 It was good before it turned in to a "all action no brains" movie, had a huge potential
The Maze Runner - 7/10
Trancendence - 7/10
Just watched James Cameron's Avatar for the umpteenth time. Loved it, solid 8/10 can't wait for the sequel next year.

You gotta be trolling
avatar is 5/10 at best
Not even joking. It's in my top twenty movies.
avatar is 5/10 at best
Yeah, the effects are nice and all but that's more what the point of the movie is. It's a really fantastic looking movie, it's just not too great in the other departments.
American Psycho - 7/10
Paul should have listened to Huey Lewis and the News

Along with the Transformers movies, Kickass 2 and Sucker Punch I suppose?
Along with the Transformers movies, Kickass 2 and Sucker Punch I suppose?
Negative. Hate all of those movies.
I like movies like Apocalypse Now Redux, Bladerunner, Star Wars. I own all lotr in extended formats, I've seen most of the behind the scenes footage. I also really like Noah and Exodus despite the fact that I'm an atheist (and it's not like me mocking them either, i just really enjoy the movies and stories).
Savages is also another one of my favorites. Loved that movie. I really liked John Carter, it even inspired me to read the books behind it. I thought drive was only an OK movie, but I really loved Only God Forgives. Maybe that's because I stayed in Bangkok (where the movie takes place) for a few weeks when I was living in Japan. The Wind Rises is pretty great as well, top 10. Saw that in theatres several times and I'm looking forward to owning it eventually.
Tonight I'm watching Wanderlust and Son of God (to make the bible movies I've seen a trio) and I'm maybe going to also watch Salmon Fishing in Yemen if I get around to it.
Savages is so fuckin bad dude
