The Bourne Trilogy 8.5/10 That shaking camera though. Made me feel dizzy.
holy fuck, apparently during the scene in two towers where Aragorn deflects his own thrown dagger from Lurtz, that was completely improvised because the actor playing the orc couldn't see much of anything. Dude was suppose to throw it at a tree. sweet jesus that's awesome
The Internship - 5/10 p dumb humor and predictable donkey poop, still had quite a few laughs though in the end it was still a look-how-great-Google-is movie and the horrible amount of product placements
1/10 is a movie that would have pretty much no effort put into it and no one involved in it had no idea on any part of making a movie. Stuff like Birdemic or "The Amazing Bulk" would be a 1/10 movie, not something you just found kinda boring.
Fuck no. A movie that puts more effort in and is still shit is worse than a movie of the same quality and less effort. Wasted budget, yes? the other day i was watching this diehard film (the newest one i think) and there's a carchase that's pointlessly expensive. They must've ruined a hundred vehicles... yet it's boring. I'm not going to rate it higher because the cinematography is varied or the cars are expensive... it's still boring. I've seen movies with little effort put into them. If they're good, they're good. I'm not going to rate them any less because they're lazy.
Pacific Rim It was pretty dumb, had poorly developed characters and a few plot holes but it was undoubtedly awesome. Not as good as people hyped it up to be, though. [editline]1st August 2013[/editline] Probbly 7/10
Oblivion It felt like a mash up of other sci-fis, especially moon and 2001: a Space Oddysey. But I had fun with it, the visuals were cool and the acting was really good, for the most part. Some cliches here and there and some predictable moments, but it's still enjoyable and well made. 7/10
Gangs Of New York - 8/10 It was pretty good.
The claws in Origins looked so fucking bad, especially when he was testing out his new adamantium claws in the bathroom. Still, I hated Halle Berry's Storm in all the movies for some reason. "Do you know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." lol
i hate halle berry in everything she has a boring face and can't act
The Colony. Solid action with some brutal fight scenes and enjoyable performances, but the setting was drab and the backstory felt a bit shallow. Film was paced well too. 8/10
Django Unchained 7/10 I enjoyed it, but only because of waltz, dicaprio and jackson. Didn't really like the plot and the 2nd part of the movie.
Cannibal! The Musical 6.5-7/10 One of trey parker's earlier films (I think his first actually), I haven't heard of this until today so I decided to see if it was on netflix. The actual musical parts of it were god damn hilarious (mostly because of trey parker writing the music), and matt stone in the movie is a big plus for their satirical and hilarious black comedy aspect of the movie. All in all I was entertained and laughing throughout the whole movie, I'd suggest this if you like any of their other stuff. (also a lot of blood and poorly done practical effects make it even funnier so watch it)
Indie game: the movie - 8/10 great documentary, im happy they picked out only a handful of people and went in depth about their experiences instead of short interviews with a dozen of indie game developers its inspiring, motivating and really interesting seeing all the different kinds of people and their ideas i kinda hate phil fish LESS now that i've seen what he's all about, but he's definitely got some issues

It made me hate him even more than I did. You've got Ed McMillian making Meat Boy - if Meat Boy fails, it's not only his life he's ruined, it's his wife's, too. He still acts like a cool dude about it. Tommy too, his family are relying on him somewhat. Fish would only be ruining his life, not even that badly, because he could just make another game. He's probably not pouring all of his finances into it like Ed, and he acts like a massive attention seeking douche "I'll kill myself if Fez flops" Fez gets good reviews at PAX, and Phil acts like a massive smug douche about it. He's so full of himself I wanted to punch him through the fucking screen. Meat Boy sells 20k on release day even after problems, and McMillian and wife are literally crying with joy, not smug at all. It just highlights how much of a dick Fish really is.

And it wasnt like he didnt care because he did, he made almost the entire game on his own and really put effort in it still hate him as a person, but he knows how to make a game
tbh i've only seen phil fish be an ass on twitter. like when he was in a giant bomb video he was alright
Westworld - I'm really not sure how I felt about it. The build up in the first half was great, but the second half felt a little hit and miss. So many elongated scenes. I think I liked it, as it had a decent cast (Apart from the very minor background characters such as the majority of those in the control room, awful acting ahoy!) and solid direction, but it wasn't exactly what I expected. It has it's big flaws, but I think for it's time it was a good sci-fi flick. 6/10
Super 8 7/10 Not what I expected at all. Pretty enjoyable though. Interesting to have the kids playing a role instead of adults.
21 Jump Street 7/10 Very funny movie, I actually laughed a couple of times. All around decent movie. Indie Game: The Movie 7/10 Interesting documentary about indie developers. I'm an aspiring programmer myself (not interested in game programming, though), and it was really interesting to see how they turned an idea into something so successful. Enemy of the State 6.5/10 It was an OK movie, I don't really like Will Smith but the movie kept me interested long enough to make it through.

Damn that English language......
i hate halle berry in everything she has a boring face and can't act
Whilst I would agree she isn't exactly Meryl Streep I think your generalisation is somewhat retarded considering Berry has done great performances like 'Monsters Ball' with Billy Bob Thornton. Big sweeping statements based on partial knowledge of an actors back catalogue is short sighted. Oh and whilst I remember, stop banning me you muppet. (User was permabanned for this post ("alt of jewdozer" - Rusty100))
of mice and men is such a great film... malkovich is badass.
Jewdozer you do realize that if you want to come back to Facepunch you aren't going to be able to use any sort of name that relates to Jewdozer, along with your old avatar? Eh, there are few actors i don't like (as actors, not as people) There's a lot actually; but i think these ones are the most overrated Will smith. bruce Willis dwayne the rock johnson tom cruise Adam sandler- I Loved him in click... but for every other movie... I don't know. I just hate half of the guys who just smile as if to say "hey, i'm in this movie, aren't i great?"
Cloverfield I think you can guess what made me want to re-watch this movie. Five years on it still holds strong; yeah a few of the effects are a little dated but it excels in making something like a giant monster attack feel real and personal. A lot of people shit on it for being vomit inducing but I really don't see that at all. Apart from a few obvious "aim the camera at the floor nobody will notice" cuts and "let me just get a good shot of this bridge collapsing before I run away" moments I thought the cinematography was handled well. It also does the Jaws thing of hyping up the creature by not showing it until late on. The movie also has pretty interesting lore if you care enough to look into it. Overall I'd give it 8/10
Sorry but Enemy of the State was awful. Any scene that featured ~hacking~ made me want to take a direct sample chlamydia test as opposed to watching the movie
it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either
Enemy of the State was awful
oi WIll Smith and Gene Hackman were very skillful.
Seven Psychopaths - 5/10 just... wat.
Bourne Identity - 8.4/10 That part with Clive Owen in the field was pretty cool. Bourne Supremacy - 7.8/10 Not as great as the others imo, but still good. Bourne Ultimatum - 9.2/10 Great end to the trilogy, loved how it ended basically exactly how it started. I Hope Damon makes a return in more Bourne movies because he is just perfect in his role. Bourne Legacy - 6.8/10 Renner was good and the action was pretty intense, but I didn't like the story much at all (hated the whole extra chromosome superhuman thing). It had my favorite actor, Ed Norton in it, and they barely used all his potential there. It just fell apart at the end.
