That was fast.
you'd think he'd be wise enough to pick a different name.
Jewdozer's a she, but whatever. I'm guessing she's just trying to stick it to Rusty.
Reminds me of the time that i went onto some weird server run by cat-worshiping 11 year olds. (this was in the day where you could easily change your name in the options menu of the game) The admin, a whiny brat, took offense to my name being "1500 jews". After he screamed at the top of his lungs for a bit i changed it to "1500 muslims" which got me kicked. Rejoining with "1500 Christians" got me banned.
But is rusty realy that bad? Can't we all just get along? (and choose more creative alt names? Ignoring previous relationships with different forum members? )
We could make a movie out of this. Jewdozer's character development as she is beaten down by rusty. I for one think it should be a romantic comedy in which the two eventually fall in love at the end and have a baby. the sequel is a comedy drama in which their child does drugs and ruins the family, hurting the facepunch community in the process.
I think Jewdozer is Rusty's ex-girlfriend, so thats why he continues to ban her cause he doesn't want any of her crap

Isn't it obvious? Rusty left Jewdozer because he was secretly gay and recently came out of the closet. Since Jewdozer is so homophobic she's trying to stalk and harass him.
Wreck-It-Ralph - 8.5/10
Was a nice movie, although it got a little boring at some parts in sugar rush. The video game references were pulled off very well, though.
wolverine - 8/10
yo that end credits scene
8===========D~~
Inception
I'm pretty sure everyone here likes this movie so there's no point in even saying anything.
Godfather. Haven't even watched it but I'm almost sure everyone knows its an amazing movie, it is really really good.
Only God Forgives- 4/5
I expected to like this film but I actually found myself enjoying it a lot more than I expected- by that I mean I was entertained and engrossed the whole time and loved it as a film as well as for its visuals and symbolism. Though a lot of people have said it's overly violent or slow, I thought the pacing was fine and the violence justified, and it looked great. I loved the whole Oedipius thing going on between the sons and Crystal- as well as Julian's relationship with Mai which I thought was just brilliant. People said the film has no depth but I thought Julian's character was a really deep one with a lot going on behind the scenes and in his past and mental state. [sp]His being tied up and Mai masturbating was both showing the dominating hold his mother has (tying him down=sexual and kinky, but not for Mai. For Crystal. It's a metaphor for how he treats her sons as well as a hint at the obvious abuse/incest[/sp], there's a fair few other things that give a great insight. Some more subtle than others [sp]the cock size thing being a pretty blatant one[/sp]
I think my favourite scene in the film was the last bit with Julian and Crystal [sp]after Chang has murdered her[/sp] it's beautiful, disturbing and powerful, and ties together a lot of the main themes of the film. [sp]his slitting her stomach open and reaching in... This apparently confused a large amount of people- I honestly didn't find it strange at all and it clicked with me right away. He's reaching and touching her womb. I view it as both his breaking free of his mother since she's finally died but also a want to return to the womb- to stay with his mother. I get the conflicting views because Julian is clearly scared of her and feels very threatened from the years of abuse, but for the same reasons he doesn't want anything more than to be with her[/sp] My favourite part of the character and his relation with his mother was how [sp]it completely destroyed any chance of him having a proper relationship. The tying up and Mai's masturbation as I mentioned before, Julian just watching Mai (and in a fantasy he goes up and reaches out and she guides him to her crotch (even in his fantasies he can't be with another woman himself- he still needs the help)- looking back it's very similar to the womb scene, also a hint that he actually wants to escape his mother and be with someone else but he just can't), he brings Mai to dinner to try and prove to his mother, even if he's lying, that he has a woman in his life outside of his mother.[/sp]
Talking a whole load and barely scratching the surface of anything in this film so I'm not gonna just go ahead and write an essay, but yeah I really loved this film. I'll definitely be catching it in the cinema again. It might be my favourite Refn film (although I've not seen all his films- I just got the Pusher trilogy which I'll be watching)
I also watched Killer Joe today. This was not what I was expecting and it surprised me a lot, but it was great. 4/5.
I loved this. It was darker than I expected it to be a light-ish black comedy. instead it was incredibly dark but twistedly funny. McConaughey was brilliant. His performance was perfect, and when it needed to be it was terrifying and chilling. The film was pretty damn weird at some parts [sp]I will never be able to look at friend chicken the same way[/sp] (also the best line was in that scene just before- [sp]DO YOU WANT ME TO WEAR YOUR FACE?![/sp] amazing)
I loved the way it portrayed everyone as stereotypes at the beginning then totally flipping it as the film went on. I loved all the twists and turns in narrative and how it goes places you don't expect. I absolutely loved the last 20 or so minutes. It all just kept going and got weirder and weirder and better and better. it was just brilliant. The reveals, McCaunaghey's performance, great cinematography.
Btw for anyone who has seen the film [sp]did anyone else get an incest vibe off Chris towards Dottie? He was so overprotective over her, his dream (or more likely fantasy) of her naked, Dottie mentioned him holding her down and lying on her when she cried and they never talk about it, probably because more happened than what she lets on or remembers. And also when she's giving the reach-a-round to Joe she said "I remember" or something. So she's done it before. but she's a virgin and her only boyfriend she never spent any time with. She says it's like she's 12 again, and that at first seems like she's talking about her boyfriend but maybe she's talking about the first time Chris molested her (I don't know if it was consensual or not, although consent is very very questionable in such a situation)[/sp]
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1+2 - 8.5
Absolutely amazing movie. Probably my second favorite Batman movie (after Dark Knight). I hope the coming Batman+Superman movie comes even close to this one.
the batman-superman cross over is going to suck

Like mikey said I have no expectations for the crossover to be good. This old comic kind of explains it on a small scale. I can't really see any practical application for their partnership to be of much use. I mean Batman wouldn't be able to do jack shit to a floating continent of Kryptonite, and Superman could kick the shit out of Bane with his pinky toe.

that's really not the biggest problem with that partnership in a live action movie, batman with enough preparation can defeat a lot of foes that rival superman
it's the same thing with reed richards, he'd be a pretty useless character was it not for his intellect, which is what enables him to defeat characters that are miles above the ff in the power scale
In comics like Batman: Hush, or in the justice league TV series and stuff, it works but the mediums allows it to. Comics and cartoons are different from films and I just can't see them pulling off the kind of things that they do in comics and cartoons without either looking terrible or just feeling impossible and wrong (even in the context of the film). For superheroes, you can let a lot more slide in just about anything for Comics and cartoons. Action scenes, silly technology, deus ex machinas, even superpowers themselves. Another big one is scale. The scale of Batman can be cranked right up in the comics, but not in a film. He can fly his 800mph batmobile to a secret underground lab and get in his jet that takes him to a WayneCorp rocket that'll launch him into space to fight a big space monster while superman flies up to fight as well. It's cool as hell in a comic/cartoon. In a film it'd be fucking retarded. It wouldn't be believable. And the idea of Batman being able to do anything Superman can't, aside come up with a plan, is just ridiculous to have in a film. It wouldn't work. Superman doesn't need batman. Batman should just be looking after Gotham anyway. That's all he does. That's his juristiction.
The Avengers pulls off a similar idea as this, but it works since it's lighter in tone and has a bigger cast (note that Hawkeye and Black widow are definitely supporting characters- the two least fantastical members of the team)
This is a Man of Steel sequel and I'm pretty sure it's the same team as Man of Steel. So it's gonna be darker and more brooding, and miss the tone completely and just have a really shitty movie. I'm not really expecting it to be TERRIBLE... more just incredibly average which is almost worse because at least bad is funny.
although i agree with most of the stuff you say, i still think that, once this whole dark thing with superhero movies goes away and people get the balls to do over the top movies with huge budgets, they'll be able to do A LOT more than they can now, without everything feeling out of place
Saw Pacific Rim with my friends;
Around a 4-5/10.
We wouldn't watch it outside of the cinema, a okey-ish action movie.
Sin City - 8
Oldboy - 8/10
Great story [sp]The 'twist' even surprised me, which is a rare thing these days[/sp] and some surprising action shots (mainly that single-shot hallway fight).
Love the soundtrack as well.
Watched the trailer for the 2013 American remake immediately after, and could instantly tell it was going to suck. Glad I decided to watch the original.
Leon the Professional
8/10
Didn't like the last part though. Sad movie overall.

True Romance
Truly great film, with some of the best acting I've ever seen. 9/10

except bane got the upper hand on batman. and he uses the element of surprise and shock. so what makes you think bane wouldnt suddenly show up to kick supermans ass with a kryptonite necklace? once again, superman a dumb as fuck character
superman a dumb as fuck character
Superman's an overly perfect character. What I like about Batman is that he's flawed. It makes things more interesting.
The Heat - 6.5/10
Pretty standard buddy cop film. Pretty forgettable, but there are some great laughs in it.
DC characters are shit in general.

Batman's cool I guess but that's it.

running into a brick wall repeatedly to 'stick it to the wall' isn't really going to work
I mean I love electric retard as much as the next person but there comes a time when you're ban on sight that you just either sign up with a different name or just go away for a few months.
