except bane got the upper hand on batman. and he uses the element of surprise and shock. so what makes you think bane wouldnt suddenly show up to kick supermans ass with a kryptonite necklace? once again, superman a dumb as fuck character
You seriously need to update your view on Superman and everyone's 'Ohh Superman is too perfect' is one of the silliest complaints I've heard about. What does that even mean? That Superman makes no mistakes and always knows what the right thing is? If so, Batman is more the perfect character with his Batgod powers and constant "shut up Clark, this is why you're wrong and etc...". I don't know where anyone gets the idea that Superman has no troubles. Oh and Rusty, Superman also has a villain that is made of kryptonite, he can easily take on Bane with a kryptonite necklace.
Dark City - 9/10 Wow. I've been meaning to see this for the longest time, and I'm glad I finally did. I loved the whole look and atmosphere of the movie, and while there were a few cheesy scenes/elements, everything else was A+ and more than made up for those parts. In a way it reminded me of the matrix, which is weird, since that came out a year later.
Oh and The Dark Knight Returns would make a terrible World's Finest movie. Yes of course Superman would become a government lackey and tear off Oliver's arm. Yes Batman please show the world how wrong they are and how right you are. Great Batman story, horrible Superman story
DC characters are shit in general. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] Batman's cool I guess but that's it.
idk man aside from X-men DC is better than marvel imo (X-men owns bones) Nightwing, New 52 Aquaman, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan and John Stewart), Batman, The Flash.. And for villains its got some great ones. Sinestro, Harley Quinn, The Joker, Jason Todd/Red Hood, Deathstroke, Darksied etc etc etc tbh Marvel only really rivals DC's main universe with X-men. X-men is so fuckin good. The comics, films, the cartoon is the best superhero cartoon tied with Batman The Animated Series (also DC).

Vanishing on 7th Street Great movie until that moment when "WHAT THE FUCK there was NO ENDING".
Vanishing on 7th Street Great movie until that moment when "WHAT THE FUCK there was NO ENDING".
Oh shit I saw this movie too a few months ago, I totally forgot about it (which says something). It's a cool concept but that's about it, I thought it was pretty dull. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] Also it only made a tenth of it's low budget back.

Kurylenko kind of has no real place here and just obsessively takes her clothing off (she also looks a lot better with short hair than she did with longer hair in Oblivion). As for being A) a video game movie and B) a Hitman movie, this was right in the park. I'm still not a fan of Timothy Olyphant though.
Cringe
you had me until i saw the words new 52 you lost all credibility there and everyone knows only batman has actual villains, the rest of DC's villains are cardboard cutouts.
Lol, what are you saying? New 52>Post-Crisis beginnings. Also, just no to that last statement. Just no. Batman definitely has the best rogue gallery out of all superheroes but saying that any other DC villain is a cardboard cutout is plain silly.

Revolutionary Road - 9/10 this movie blew me away, sam mendes does not goddamn dissapoint the acting, oh lord the acting. i genuinly think this is DiCaprio's oscar worthy performance along with Kate winslet, just jawdroppingly impressive. and Michael shannon just nails it with his crazy hilarious character, flawless performance

That's why it was never used at first however at least the original one had the concept of it being really really rare. I would also say that this Superman. Would get his ass kicked by Bane. All Bane has to do is to find out who Clark Kent is (easy he did it with Batman), walk up to his door, have a kryptonite necklace, bust open the door and beat Superman to death. You're totally right for that Superman. Hell he failed to dodge an acid spray from the Joker once. He is a dumb character. However, most comic version of Superman just won't allow that to happen because a)Superman can move faster than the speed of light b)Superman has a ridiculous set of powers. Like, Superman can just simply destroy the kryptonite with heat vision or freeze him. The possibilities are endless. EDIT: Also, Lex Luthor>>>>>>>>Bane
What's wrong with New 52? it was a great move imo. Batman's rogue's gallery is unmatched but saying he's the only character with good villains is just dumb. Most bigger heroes have at least a few really good villains that are deeper and more interesting than just being inherently evil.

Post-Crisis just wasn't working for me. It had some good and maybe even some great moments in it but New 52 was a good move. The characters are getting great writers such as Grant Morrison. The only major complaints I have about the New 52 is Superman's costume and his power differences between JLA and his own Superman stories.
running into a brick wall repeatedly to 'stick it to the wall' isn't really going to work
I never said they were being smart about it, it's just what I see.
Memories of Murder 7/10 It was a good movie but also kinda boring and unsatisfying.
Robocop II - 7/10 Another good sci fi drug centered story (this time written by Frank Miller). The ending fight between Kain and Robo was best scene in entire movie. However the worst things in the movie is the filler where Robocop turns into a sissy-loser-optimistist and the little boy drug-dealer The Wolverine - 8/10 I liked the story and characters, I also knew [sp] The old man was the main villain the whole time [/sp]. Also, the mid credits sequence...when I saw [sp]Patrick and Ian again[/sp] I had a nerdgasm
^robocop 2 was pretty bad only good robocop is the first one.
Robocop 2 was so stupid that it was watchable Robocop 3...that's another story
Robocop 3 was fucking hilarious because it was so bad. Also, no Peter Weller, minus 6 points. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] Goddamn Robocop's voice in 3 sounded terrible
Die Hard fuck its so good/10 No seriously everytime I watch it it knocks my socks off, def my favorite straight action movie
Die Hard is the movie I watch ever year when it's Christmas. What better way to celebrate the birth of Jesus than watching a film about Bruce Willis being fuck awesome and stuck inside a building with East-German terrorists?
its definitely one of a kind
the man with the iron fists a few cool moments, pretty sets and russel crowe in a badass role... a part from that it's quite bad. 5/10
the batman-superman cross over is going to suck
I think it could work if they play Batman as the worlds greatest detective and have him do more investigation and behind the scenes work rather than just beating people up like in Nolan's films. There is no point in having Batman there if all he is going to do is fight people.
Rise of the Guardians - 7/10 The film overall was good but god the ending was terrible when [sp] the kids all a sudden save the day [/sp]
