No-ones said Meshuggah's new album?
Yup, Epicloud is out some time this year, I think most of the recording is done for it now.
I think he hung out in Perth after Soundwave and recorded a few songs for the album.
new Fiona Apple record out soon: http://www.avclub.com/articles/epic-records-confirms-that-fiona-apples-new-album,68348/
Certainly looking forward to Death Grips new album(s) more than anything.
I've done a 180 on the new Sleigh Bells album, at first I really liked it but now I can't stand it. Doesn't hold a candle to Treats.
new brand new will be interesting considering they're saying they're taking a large turn on how their discography has progressed i believe
Looking forward to the new Meshuggah album. I've heart Sleigh Bell's new album and thought it was decent.
The new Christian Mistress LP is good.

The way Jesse described it sounds like they are going back to Deja Entendu/TDAG and then making another album as if they had gone in a different direction from there. Not really sure what he means by that or how that will sound at all but as long as its on par with Daisy I will be happy. Is it too much to hope that they will ever make something as good as Deja or The Devil and God again?

http://extraneousterrain.tumblr.com/ Interview with Jesse where he talks about that, this interview makes me appreciate Daisy a lot more too.
I think that ‘Daisy’ was like the end of a road, and I get the impression we all feel like we might need to back track a little bit and find another place where we could’ve gone off. I don’t think we’ll go into writing this record from the standpoint of coming out of ‘Daisy’, and into the next thing, it will probably be more around album number two or three, where maybe we had another conception then of where we could have gone off, and maybe we‘ll try to re-discover that.
That excites me.
similar to anything but YFW and it's fine with me

i remember him tweeting that he was still doing arrangements for the choir so i don't think he's quite that far along yet
I'm looking forward to future Alby Daniels releases. He released his first EP at the end of last month, it's kinda like RnB styled garage/dubstep if that makes sense
Dunno if it's what everyone else is into but w/e

Been going through some more stuff

Break It Yourself by Andrew Bird
Haven't really listened to his other stuff so I can't compare but I enjoyed it. Has a nice warm, fuzzy nostalgic folk sound.

Corrosion of Conformity by Corrosion of Conformity
Not necessarily bad, good instrumentals and decent vocals, but I'm kind of over them in general so it just felt like background music.
Also from those already mentioned in this thread I listened to:
Visions by Grimes
Grew on me quite a bit, has an interesting blend of electronic and oriental sounds.
fin by John Talabot
Listenable but I didn't really see anything that special about it and I doubt I'll ever listen to it again.
Disappointed by what i'm hearing so far with miike snow. It's like i thought there wouldn't be a chance of that ever happening but i'm still trying to pin point what it is. Absoloutely heartbreaking being my favourite band, waiting 3 years for a second album but I don't know lets see how it goes.

I like the new direction they've gone, there's a more upbeat (if that's possible with them) tone to Happy To You so far but they've still retained their ''sound''.
Yeah i think thats it. Like the title, definitely more happier damn me for being miserable. Liking the wave at the moment and i'm hoping i will enjoy the rest as time goes on.
Bruce isn't dead
news to me
if anyone knows things about the new Julia Holter and Big Krit, tell me if its good.

It'll be an album that grows on you.
Boards of Canada posting something on their Facebook confirming a rumour that they were working on a 2012 release. If so, I will be so fucking happy.
New Slaughterhouse album called Our House being released in May I think and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded being released in April. Most excited about the new Slaughterhouse album though

right
I am awaiting for the music of lana Del Rey. Her music lyrics are always awesome.
In this 2012 I hope she will compose the more musics.
I'm really liking Visions actually. Especially the bits that are more obviously influenced by 70's electronic
