I do think they are quite overated. My cousin freaking loves them but I seem to find them a bit samey.
I'm going to be seeing them at Twickenham 5th July supported by, Lauren Harris, Avenged Sevenfold (damn!) and Within Temptation. 6 hours of metal!
Iron Maiden with... Avenge Sevenfold? Poor maiden.
I've never really liked metal, but I've always kinda liked Iron Maiden.
Yeah, but since that band does not exsist right now...
They're still not the best metal band on earth. I think bands like Children of Bodom and Mastodon are much better, but Iron Maiden kicks ass too.
You forgot Genghis Khan! How dare you!
GOD DAMMIT!!! If there are songs that you think should be in here, post them. Now stop pestering me.
The Wickerman is one of my favourites.
Sadly i just don't think they're the greatest metal band ever.
I really don't like the guy singing the vocals, it sort of kills the whole thing. The instrumental work is great and all but I can't listen to this guy talk, I'm sorry.
I'm going to an Iron Maiden concert in about 9 days.
Oh god , I love Iron Maiden , I got into them last week and bought ALL their albums. If I had to narrow best songs: 1. Paschendale 2. The Longest Day 3. The Trooper
This is the greatest TV commercial ever made...
'Can I Play with Madness' is in my top songs for Iron Maiden, I fucking love it
'Can I Play with Madness' is in my top songs for Iron Maiden, I fucking love it
Yeah man, that song is fucking awesome.
I can play Run to the Hills on expert... on the drums.
I can play Run to the Hills on expert... on the drums.
I could play it on drums for real... But unfortunately my drum set is gone.
I just got in to them relatively recently, but had heard them before. I bought The Number of the Beast, and Piece of Mind which are both great. Which is better, Powerslave or Killers, because I want to buy another of their albums.
I saw Maiden on March 10th.
Oh god , I love Iron Maiden , I got into them last week and downloaded ALL their albums. If I had to narrow best songs: 1. Paschendale 2. The Longest Day 3. The Trooper
Fixed anyways I think they are ok, AC/DC is way much beter IMO
Fixed anyways I think they are ok, AC/DC is way much beter IMO
AC/DC isn't even metal, it's hard rock... But still an awesome band though...
Killers. Best album of the 70's.
Killers came out in 1981. If I had to guess, I'd say Iron Maiden is in fact the greatest band ever.
Up the mother fucking irons.
My favourite album is Brave New World and the band is FUCKING AWESOME! I'm going to see them at twickenham Also I bought Bruce's 'Tyranny of Souls' and a few of the songs on that are good (Power of the Sun & Abduction)
Seen Maiden live and wasn't that impressed, I can see the hype but their songs are so regurgitated.
Seen Maiden live and wasn't that impressed, I can see the hype but their songs are so regurgitated.
So you expect them to magically and instantly make up a new song on stage just for you? Just asking...
I just saw them on Thursday.
I have to say that The Trooper and Hallowed by thy Name are my favorite Iron Maiden songs!
Saw them Wednesday. I had shitty seats but the concert was amazing. They truly are the greatest band ever. Best song of the night was either Hallowed Be Thy Name or Fear of the Dark. After they played the Trooper the crowd was cheering so loud that Bruce sat there for 4 minutes because they couldn't start the next song.
I have their whole discography on my old computer. Edit:
Oh god , I love Iron Maiden , I got into them last week and bought ALL their albums. If I had to narrow best songs: 1. Paschendale 2. The Longest Day 3. The Trooper
I like the song Iron Maiden, on the album Iron Maiden, by the band Iron Maiden.
i can play "Run To The Hills" on drums. Iron Maiden is awesome.
I just bought a Killers and The Trooper poster. Both proudly hanging in my room.
