I just thought I'd bump this thread to say that Dance of Death has to be my favorite song by Iron Maiden.

Iron Maiden are awesome, no denying that. I have all the albums, but none of the vocalists can hold a candle to Bruce.
And Iron Maiden won the award for best live band at the Brit awards earlier this year. Shows how awesome they are.

Modern day metal can go eat dick, 80's metal is the best music in the world. 1980 was the decade that brought metal, and good metal bands, like Metallica, Megadeth and Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden are classed as an 80's metal band.

Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest, etc. were GREAT metal bands (excluding Metallica because they re-use the same shit in their songs and are sloppy as hell).

1. About 30 years ago, there was a metal movement called the [b]New Wave Of British Heavy Metal[/b], go look it up, and you'll notice that Iron Maiden is listed as one of the major spearhead bands of this movement.
2. The bands you listen to are [b]Melodic Death Metal[/b], not [b]Heavy Metal[/b], which Iron Maiden is classified as.

Powerslave and Seventh son of a seventh son are by two favorites albums. I'd say my favorite song is either The Legacy or Paschendale.
This band = WIN! Currently have everything up to Virtual XI, with Dickinson-era material being absolute favorite.
However, I would like to find out who made the cover for Dance of Death and embed a crowbar into his head. What is with the absolutely horrible CGI cover?
This was my #1 band for a loooong time, it's still one of my favorites.
