I guess I'll start. This one's from person experience with the locals and it is NOT a jab at any of you here.

While not necessarily an overly presiding person, this sort is usually a mutated version of the typical experienced and senior airsoft player. Although drawing from their vast experience, they are perhaps too confident and certain in their ways. They are reluctant to consider suggestions from anyone else of lower esteem or in the squad, and God help you if you've only been around for a month and came up with a cool new idea that they didn't think of first. Some sub-variants will frequently bring up their great expertise when it's convenient, usually in an argument where they're obviously in the wrong. Most "General" players are on a greatly respected team and, while discouraging the formation of new teams for selfish and conceited reasons, will turn around and talk to other clanned people about how great and united play is with more teams and how the quality of the experience is much higher with the cohesion teams bring.
