You should make fun of them. What do they like and what do they look like, I'll come up with some stuff right now.
you don't half come out with some daft advice sometimes.
I'm afraid he's not very old. Or bright.

Enough said.
Anyway, yeah, ignore them. They just long for attention and when you take it away from them, they'll leave you alone eventually.
What has my twitter have to do with anything? yea i'm not that old, but age doesn't define shit, + i stopped using twitter pretty much in summer so yeah.
maturity is closely connected to your age, so it does define a lot
maturity is closely connected to your age, so it does define a lot
Not always, depends on. + being old doesn't make you smarter, or wiser. You just have a better view of things.

I just really like talking shit.

Isn't that literally what being wiser is?
Not always, depends on. + being old doesn't make you smarter, or wiser. You just have a better view of things.
maturity is just a word for "the wisdom you gain with age"
If it bothers you then leave/avoid them. Why is that so difficult.
Alternatively, you could just scoff and tell them that the only reason they're teasing you is because they're jealous of how successful and handsome you are, and that they'll NEVER surpass your massive accomplishments, because goddamnit, you're practically a HERO! People stop you on the street and say, "hey, aren't you UncouthJungle?!"

Dunno if i could use the "jealous" thingy on my case. I'm not the best looking guy in the world so it wouldn't really change anything :d
He's trying to crack a joke at something that happened over 2 years ago. Actually pretty impressed with myself, must have struck a few nerves if people still haven't let it go. Good times.
But yeah, just ignore them. It's called extinction in psychology. Kind of like how a kid is screaming in the grocery store and the parent is just ignoring them. It will get worse and worse, the kid will rampage and tear things up with more intensity as he continues to be ignored, but the behavior will eventually die out. Ignore them and they'll ramp up the teasing for a while, just stick to your guns and keep ignoring them, they'll get bored eventually.
Make sure that, as you ignore them, you thrust your nose into the air and call them kids throwing temper tantrums, and then later write a several thousand word blog post about it in which you compare them to extremists attempting to sabotage your legacy for fear that it will outshine their own.
This is the Super Friendly Social and Love Advice thread, stop with the assholishness.
Changing topic back to super friendly stuff, I'm reconnecting with all my old buddies from Ireland and life is good.
EDIT: It might seem a bit hypocritical coming from me since I made a few joke posts, but they were genuinely just lighthearted joking. It's pretty stupid that we're all dogpiling on this dude.
hey, i was for serious

I'm pretty sure bda is actually just having a stab at maverick
I'm pretty sure bda is actually just having a stab at maverick
I know he is, and it falls under semi-assholishness. I was mainly talking about how everyone's sort of hammering home the same point to Uncouth.
Okay, i'm having trouble and i'm afraid of learning via trial and error so...
This girl, who's younger than me (not that much), so, since like 7 months ago, i met her and we became friends, only meeting on school and such (i had no romantic intentions at that moment).
Fast forward to past week, well, i wan't to do something with her, because i started liking her a lot, so i asked her to watch a movie with me, but she said she had to see a friend of hers that day.
The next day, we take the bus together, and we didn't talked at all, i did some attemps to start a conversation, but nothing came form it, same some days later.
Well, it could not necesesarily be me, maybe a family problem or something, do i ask her if she's alright and stuff, or i should just give her space?
Fuck that was long, sorry for the bad english, i'm not used to writing that much.
Well, she suddenly got back to normal, but i'm still worried about it.
Well, she suddenly got back to normal, but i'm still worried about it.
Calm down. Everything will go your way if you don't worry about it.
My best advice to all of you is to sign up for Engineering, IT Engineering would be even better.
You will never (or at least rarely) see women and before you know it you will prioritize buying paints for your Warhammer figures over talking to that nice girl who started this year and could use some help with her current course and you could totally help her out.
Meet me everyone.
Man that was a long sentence.

Seeing as you are in Sweden. Which Uni? Because KTH is a sausagefest.
Is this the part where we discover that we are classmates?
Commander, you acknowledged the issue, now talk to the new girl
What do you do if two girls are making fun of you and using the fact that they're girls, you can't do bullshit. I'd knock their teeth out but i don't want to go to jail yet and i'd like to hear some opinions here.
they prob like you ask them out
[editline]14th October 2013[/editline]
its like evangelion asuka was only calling shinji a faggot because she wanted him to choke her
Commander, you acknowledged the issue, now talk to the new girl
Ah yes. Let me rephrase what I said. I was talking to her. But I left her because Games Workshop was closing in an hour. :v: I made it sound worse now, didn't I.
Also another great tip from me. Do something incredibly stupid and/or embarrassing. Doing this will make you unable to feel shame again. See me, a week into our welcoming period where we welcome the new students. I ran up on stage in front of about 150 people dressed in a home made super hero outfit. Let's just say that I am not fit and I wore underpants outside my shorts a red child sized cape, pink dishwashing gloves and a mask. Why I did this is a very long story so let us not get into that. But the point still stands. No matter what I do after that, it will never be as retarded as that. So to all of you guys who are very shy, just do something similar. The whole thing got recorded too.

I showed up to training at Legoland a week early. That was fun.

I dated literally the only girl out of all of the 2nd year engineering majors. It's a fucking sausage fest. I feel your pain. :c
It does help to get away from all the engineers from time to time, though.
I never realized how spoiled I am compared to some people. All of my classes have at least a 50/50 girl/guy split.
Working in a restaurant, my workplace is full of girls my age. I'm the only guy. It's not bad.
Hi LA,
I don't normally post here, but I'm sort of in shock. I was talking to a girl I know really well, and she said flat out that she's going to prom with me - should I take this as a sign to move forward? I'm assuming that all signs point to yes here - we've been good friends for a while and she was definitely genuine in what she said after. I already said that I wouldn't ever turn her down, and she's good like that - but prom is several months off, so should I interpret this as a sign to act?
Update: Last Thursday (Friday was an off day), she gave me a semi-love note. I say semi, because it implied a lot indirectly. This was before I planned to talk to her, so I rolled with that and sent a reply.
We were walking together and she asked if I made any changes before I gave it to her. I said I did, and that I changed the last line. She said she could guess what it said, jumped and hugged me. Things are progressing!

Reminded me how randomly me and these 3 other guys were talking about girls in our classes, our courses, our school and such in the gym change room after we all finished working out and this random guy comes out of nowhere and says "I'm in computer programming, there are no girls" :v:

Funnily enough, in my compsci class, this is mainly true (there are probably only 2-3 in mine (teacher excluded), rest are guys).
