post waffles [editline]24th October 2013[/editline] @fingers you fucked up, thats about it. Showing interest from the male side should not be "Oh I love you a lot, will you send the rest of your life with me?". Thats pushing everything to her side to make the decision, and unless she already likes you a lot, shell crumble with the huge pressure youre putting on her. Besides, its lame and only works in movies and fairy tales.
Since i've come to uni, whenever I go out everyone in my group gets drunk way before me and usually have to go home early and it's really annoying Why the fuck is everyone such a lightweight here?

Go make friends with 50 year old bikers in some bar
Drink more so you get on their level.
The reason I never get properly drunk is it just costs too much money
The reason I never get properly drunk is it just costs too much money
Get shitfaced before you hit the clubs?
The reason I never get properly drunk is it just costs too much money
cheap vodka is just as good as expensive vodka in terms of getting you drunk [editline]24th October 2013[/editline]
Get shitfaced before you hit the clubs?
if you do don't take your bank card with you or you'll just get money out during the night speaking from experience here
Better idea if you have that level of self control is to have a 2nd account for money you don't mind spending. [editline]24th October 2013[/editline] That way if you end up stuck with no cash you can still get home
Another problem I forgot to consider has come up that I should have really considered beforehand. I'm mates with the ex of the girl I have a thing with, I usually wouldn't consider having a thing with a mate's ex it's just she told me that he said he never liked her in the first place and how he was an asshole to her after they broke up and shit. I really don't know what to do considering I like this girl.
cheap vodka is just as good as expensive vodka in terms of getting you drunk
if you can even bear the taste have a bottle of cheap vodka that's been sitting in our kitchen for about 4 months that's too pungent to even mix with anything
Tbh I've got constant internet on my Galaxy S4, plus about a bajillion text messages. If I'm out, I'll most of the time reply real quick. If I'm at home, my phone is sometimes on silent from the morning or whatever and it'll take like an hour for me to realize I've gotten a message. Technology nowadays, there's literally no reason for anyone not to reply in like a minute flat, unless they're not really interested in you / can't be bothered talking to you. [editline]23rd October 2013[/editline] But thank god I've never been the "Hello, are you there? Helloooo?" type. I sometimes get text diarrhea though.
what the fuck noone I know replies in a minute flat, i cant always be bothered to reply as soon as i get the message theres no rush
Want to ask this girl out on a date tomorrow, wish me luck guys [editline]24th October 2013[/editline] I already made out with her at a party so let's hope for a yes ahaha
On the subject of drinks, my ex-girlfriend (from years ago) and I still hang out pretty regularly. She stayed here a few days this week, and we had some drinks, and accidentally discovered a delicious combo. First, you make a pitcher of Crystal Lite. Orange-Banana-Strawberry. Make yourself a glass, and dump a double of Jameson in it. Sometimes I really admire her ingenuity, because there's no effin' way I'd have been adventurous enough to explore whiskey like that on my own.
With one of mine I discovered cheap white wine mixed with cheap vodka works pretty well. They kinda cancel each other out taste wise and its just like drinking bad water that burns. Gets you wrecked fast. I ordered it at a nice bar once for a joke and the barman just looked at me in disgust while he made it.
So now that I'm at least somewhat comfortable with introducing myself to girls I kind of want to get some practice. What's a good place to meet girls other than a bar or club?
Immigration centers.

[editline]24th October 2013[/editline] Except if she shanked you and you're dead.

Why not have unbranded vodka with cheap ass orange juice like us plebs.
raspberry iced tea is pretty good
I don't drink much or often, so when I do I want the good stuff! Jameson is tops.
What's an appropriate amount of time to wait to ask someone out, after they after they break up with their boyfriend? There's this girl I'm really into and she just got out of a 9 month relationship two days ago.

After 4 days 7 hours 23 minutes and 8 seconds exactly otherwise it won't work
"I would invite you but I know you'd rather stay on your own playing video games" - oh.. okay then.
psst let them know you want to go do stuff i wondered why i didnt get invited to parties till i was 18 then realized its because everyone thought i didnt like parties
"I would invite you but I know you'd rather stay on your own playing video games" - oh.. okay then.
I remember a girl said something along the lines of that when I asked why I didnt get a party invite when I was like 15, it was more "I didnt think you do stuff like that" but I told her I definetly would be keen and went along got drunk and had a blast. Got invited to every big party after that, just be upfront and tell people rather than being complacent, being complacent gets you absolutely nowhere my friend.
Well on Sunday I made the mistake of telling the girl who I have a thing with that I don't want a relationship right now, it was just in general and I wasn't referring to her it was just I didn't feel like a relationship. Now I have feelings for her and wouldn't mind going out with her but her friend told me she doesn't like me in that way anymore and I'm suspecting that me telling her I wasn't ready for a relationship caused her to not like me. Is there anyway for me to try and get her to like me again? We still have a thing.
No there isn't except for being straight up about it because if she did have a thing for you it rarely just cuts off completely in a day or so. Just be honest with her
I pussied out today and didn't ask her. It's half term now so I won't see her for another week, fuck. Might just drop her a text in the mid week aha [editline]25th October 2013[/editline] even though that's lame af
