I've been talking with this girl, who I've really liked for a long time, and I was pretty sure she liked me. We have basically the same opinions on the "ideal" relationship (basically fwb), and she's flat out explicitly said that she thought I was hot.

I was going to go on a hike with her to the old zoo (abandoned zoo in griffith park, it's pretty cool), but she got sick and couldn't go. She got better, but said that her parents probably wouldn't want to have her go out that far anyway. So, we're just going to like a local (very small) park instead. I have no real idea if she actually likes me or not, so what should I bring/prepare for? The park's really, really small, and has like a playground, tennis courts, and an open grassy area and that's it.

I used to think I was smart but that was just friends and family making me feel better, I'm actually pretty dumb at some things including math and especially people skills. I've been having some issues with my best friend lately. I've been a bit down because I've finally, after years of being a socially retarded wreck for the most part, started to get out there and talk to girls more often. I've gotten a few decent reactions, and been with a couple of people intimately in the past year (including a girlfriend of 10 months) but I feel like I've lost my touch or something.

I mentioned that girls don't really seem to react to my advances whatsoever anymore, and she just kind of blew it off. Then, I finally got a reaction from this girl I've been talking to a bit lately. She said I looked really good today, and how she wanted to go on this coffee date we've been talking about going on for a while, and then cuddle afterwards. I finally felt good about myself, and my "best friend" just said the only reason she was being that nice is because she was high.

And then when I dropped her off, she said she thought I'd turn out like my dad when I'm older (a lonely alcoholic with no friends always pitying himself), and claimed to be joking, but that's a pretty fucked up thing to say.

Honestly, I've been growing sick of this friend lately, and I'm not so sure what to do about it. She's really inconsiderate a lot of the time, and some other things that I don't particularly want to go in to are making me very leery of hanging around her anymore.
