It's also worth knowing whether she is baptised or not, if she is then that means that if she ever had sex or did anything outside of the religions rules her family would shun her and refuse to speak to her. I am nice, I am very nice almost to nice in my opinion. I did alot for her and for some time she was "there" for me and all of the sudden she stopped giving a fuck, it's mean, very mean if you look at the whole picture. She lives 30 minutes far away and I can't even meet up with her, she almost never took the time or effort. I can't even have a phone call with her, not even talk to her face to face because she doesn't even try to. All this chatting bullshit the past 2 years has been a big bullshit and I put to much effort into the whole romance we had.

She did betray alot of the rules, I mean she kissed me, hold hands and slept in a bed with me several times (no sex tho because I was very careful for her own good) but in the end I feel like just an useless toy that has been forgotten. I wrote full fleshed out songs for her, I did record a song in my studio with her because she dreamed of singing an self made song. Well all that jazz.

I am nice despite what she says but the thing that makes me boil inside is that she says [B]nothing[/B]. How can someone after all this time just say nothing and ignore what has been and what is going on, it's fucked up and cruel.

I wish I could bring her to the whole science stuff and such... she does not dare to look into it at all. She only uses her phone for online stuff and she pretty much ditched her laptop. The funny thing is, she is very intelligent and understanding of everything and I think that she would leave it all just like you did if she would start to get into the science stuff.

Yeah it wouldn't affect her any way, they only tend to listen to the science stuff if they have an open mind otherwise they'll ignore it or say its all "satans lies" or some shit. They also have loads of literature dedicated to trying to debunk evolution (admittedly its all terrible and the people who wrote it don't have a clue what they're talking about, but it works on people who don't really understand evolution)

To be fair I only really looked into stuff with an open mind when I realised they wanted me to give up video games and wanking, which essentially led to me going "if I'm giving that shit up I'm going to damn well make sure they're telling the truth", to which I found they weren't, so like fuck I was giving that shit up

Is it alright if I bitch about my parents? This isn't angst - I'm 21, and I want to bitch about how they treat each other, not me.

They've been going through a rough patch these past couple years. Arguments are commonplace, and while they have not gotten physical, they've been pretty heated. But here's the thing that drives me nuts.

The both of them have been threatening divorce the entire time. Yeah, some 3-4 years of "I hate you! I'm getting a divorce!" and never following through. You'll understand that I've become immune to these sort of threats because, well, neither party has fulfilled their promises. Boy who cried wolf, et cetera.

Now that isn't quite what drives me nuts. What drives me nuts is their attitude towards each other. They both want to make amends, but any serious conversation seems to be fueled by anger and vitriol. See, I think both of them have such a negative attitude about the whole situation that nothing can be done. It's hard to build those bridges again when neither party wants to cooperate.

For example, just last night, my parents had another argument. I don't really care what it was about. But I remember my father telling my mother that, when she went to surgery, he was the person who made sure the nurses were aware that she had to have her glasses the moment she woke up, or she'd freak out. He waited for her the entire 7 hours during the surgery. (Brain surgery, if you're curious.) He just rattled off a lot of examples where, historically, he proved in not so obvious ways that he loved her. And her response was to just storm out of the room.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not asking for advice on how to help them. Parental feuds are definitely of out of my control. It just feels productive, to me, to sort of write this stream of consciousness about how I see the situation unfolding. I guess my question, though, is how should I be handling the situation? I'm well able to move out on my own if I have to, but I'd like to ride free rent as long as possible. Has anyone else been subjected to a similar situation?

You have no idea what you're talking about, which is probably because you've never been involved with this particular religion so I can't blame you.

yeah i literally hear nothing good about jehova's witnesses as a religion lol, what i hear a lot of them live it as a lifestyle like how muslims live islam as a lifestyle and that they try their damnest to try to make you convert

basically what heigou said. You can try both for sex, see where that goes from there and decide which one you can and want to go further with. In the end if you think that 8 is better than 9 for a relationship, then go ahead.

Also, its a bad habit to rate girls from 1 to 10 I think. That makes it look like there's some kind of ranking and when you objectively classify 2 girls and compare them based on this one will always be inferior to the other even though its all subjective.
