I like to say I hate people, and I dont like being around people, which is fairly true.
Being around people for extended times irritates and exausts me. Yet the part I dont tell people is that i always try to reach out and help strangers, smile at everyone who walks by me on the street and try to make everyones day just a little better.
I confuse myself sometimes.

You guys are getting a little over agressive on the point there :v: I think we all remember break ups hurt infatuated or not, no need to rip him a new asshole over it.

The important thing to remember that a lot of people I find miss is that they think they wont find anyone else that god or that they get along woth that well, your a little lucky in your case really that it was so short. You have less to catch up on. When you meet a new girl dont compare her to the old one, its not fair since you dont have the same depth of experience to judge from. Theres lots of fish in the sea just as good, you just have to take some time to get deeper than just one of their colours :)

its silly to think that everyone is always one way and always the way they see themselves, human behavior aint that simple g

it was more of a realization "yeah ok" as in, it was a shitty idea to post another essay about feelings here and cry out for sympathy, i'm not acting like a nob

i hate that people base their relationships off of television shows

i feel like a lot of relationships would be a lot better if people just appreciated the little things

this is unrelated but if anybody is scared of rejection my senior year english teacher once told me "rejection gets easier after the first few times because you start to realize nobody likes you anyways"(he was easy to talk to cuz mid twenties)

which i thought was a pretty good way to think about it because after that i was no longer scared of rejection

Really depends on your workplace, the people there, and how the dates or whatever go.

For example, there's not really a problem with it in mine beyond people liking to gossip and whatnot. I've gone on dates with quite a few of my new co-workers and there hasn't been any awkwardness or problems regarding it. However, none of the dates have been bad or anything like that.

Then there's my friend who went out on a date with a dude she works with and it just made everything there really strange because he tried to get into her pants on the first date and she denied him access.

So really, I can't say there's a surefire answer to your question. Just comes down to your own personal judgement, what you think is the right call.

I've seriously considered it. But, at the same time, there's this really awkward tension in my household regarding relationships. It's pretty much like this invisible force that my brother, sister and I all mutually recognize but never talk about.

I'm starting my second year of college anyway. Too bad 2/3s of the students at my college have Y chromosomes.

Today I've been starting to miss my ex. Not so much of being in a relationship with HER, but I miss talking to her and stuff, despite her being a bitch the last time we spoke. I think I'm just missing having a woman in my life that I can just talk to and knowing there's someone who cares about me and stuff, I think I even miss just having a girlfriend, because I've just been a bit lonely today.
