I got the new CD on my way home from work. I've only listened to the first song, but it's a lot heavier than the others.
The screaming is a little weird though. It all sounded like it was slightly synthesized.

Well no, I'm entitled to, because this is a thread about what we're trying to talk about, and I'm just telling you to get out.
at one point they went all christain. is that shit still happening?
they always have been
part of the reason they are terrible
Yeah, that's the difference between people with good taste and bad taste for you.
It's funny how the "music" forum isn't as open to different opinions & music as you'd expect.
You haven't been on many musics forums.

They're all like this.
they always have been

really? i thought they were ike "we're christain now" for popularity. but whatevs, their sound is good, just, the lyrics sometimes are shit

They've always been Christian, yeah.
I don't know, they aren't as in-your-face about it as some other bands though. The lyrics aren't religious to the point of sounding cliche.

idk, they sound good. i like em, but the fact that they say theyre christian and dont really sing about stupid christian things, is kind of hypocritical.

Not really. Their songs still deliver a very christian-oriented message at most times.
I mean, just because you're a christian band doesn't mean every song has to be about it.

i didnt say every song. all im saying, if youre in the mood for screamo, theyre good. but their lyrics arent all that great eh.
in my personal opinion, christian bands suck. they can keep to their own, stay out of real music.
oh be nice, they're adorable

You're being extremely closed-minded by saying Christians can't let their religion influence their music.
TDWP are a christian band, HOWEVER, the songs merely incorporate those specific ideals, rather than focus on it. The lyrics are much better than most Christian bands.

They were Christian from the get-go, and to my understanding they still are.
The "Christian lyrics" are things like "Dear Lord deliver me from hypocrisy and surcease," essentially saying, "let me not be a hypocritical Christian." I also caught "don't be ashamed of your faith" in Dogs Can Wear Beards All Over, which is probably the most cliched "Christian lyric" they have.
Ugh. This band is just another annnoying band that sounds like squeeling swine and puts out shirts with every bright ass color of the rainbow on it.
I'm disapointed with the new age of music.

God forbid they use a vocal style you aren't open to.
AND GOD FORBID THEY MAKE BRIGHT COLORED SHIRTS. What the FUCK has the world come to!? All band shirts should be black and dark gray!
Kill yourself.

Ah, I completely forgot!
Although since it was never reproduced, I probably won't try and add it in, to be honest.
But thanks for pointing it out! :)
My friend really likes this band, and I'm starting to like it too.
I hated the band when I first heard 'em. But now I'd say that they are definitely one of my favorites.
