Lol internet petition. They don't work.
http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/list/closed
The customer is still king, because they get to buy Assassins Credo 2 and faster internet if they want to play it. Where's the slavery there? Good game, good connection.
How it is now: Customer: I want to play a game on my computer. I also want to carry it around on my laptop on long trips so i want a good offline game. Publisher: Lmao, no. Get a better connection cheap ass cunt. Customer: B...but.... Well, okay. How it should be: Customer: I want to play a game on my computer. I also want to carry it around on my laptop on long trips so i want a good offline game. Publisher: Ok, do you want fries with that?
Yeah, except that it's a game maker, and not a McDonalds. What a twat.
So much of EA being the EVIL COMPANY. It seems both Ubisoft and Activision are the "new" evil companies.
I guess the customer IS king. C: I want to play this game offline U: Too bad C: Ok i just won't buy the game Oh wait no, the customer still doesn't get what it wants and only a dumbfuck would get a better internet connection to play a singleplayer game [editline]10:25PM[/editline]
So much of EA being the EVIL COMPANY.
So much of EA being the EVIL COMPANY. It seems both Ubisoft and Activision are the "new" evil companies.
The evil ones here are the people trying to stop progress with their hateful petitions. If ubisoft listened to them, they'd lose any profit from the game.
So much of EA being the EVIL COMPANY. It seems both Ubisoft and Activision are the "new" evil companies.
I already forgot why EA was bad.
The evil ones here are the people trying to stop progress with their hateful petitions. If ubisoft listened to them, they'd lose any profit from the game.
What progress are you talking about?
The evil ones here are the people trying to stop progress with their hateful petitions. If ubisoft listened to them, they'd lose any profit from the game.
And if Ubisoft put some shitty DRM in the game, they're going to lose profit from the game.
This won't work unless you petition with your money.
And if Ubisoft put some shitty DRM in the game, they're going to lose profit from the game.
Oooh, look at the baby november member with his "opinions." Study after study from SecuROM have shown that games with DRM make money, whereas games without it get pirated into the red. I don't think this petition will work, but I support it. I can't get ACII. Not, "I don't want to because of DRM". I live too far from the nearest town to have anything faster or more stable than satellite internet, (Which is over-expensive horseshit to begin with around here). I seriously don't see why offline games need internet, or how constantly checking the game's connectivity will somehow justify it's authenticity. It makes no sense. I could pirate the game, but that just adds to the endless cycle of this shit. In any case, I don't think anyone has completely stable internet, or at least not the general mass of them. Even broadband is sketchy at times.
Oooh, look at the baby november member with his "opinions." Study after study from SecuROM have shown that games with DRM make money, whereas games without it get pirated into the red.
Oooh, look at the elitist '05 member with his ignorant 'fact' spewing. I seriously urge you to look into a little game called 'Spore'. If a game is good, and playable under most conditions, people will buy it. EDIT: Actually, I'm thinking you're trolling.
oooh, look at the baby november member with his "opinions." study after study from securom have shown that games with drm make money, whereas games without it get pirated into the red.
hurf durf ima 05er im smartr den u cuz u joined novmber.

Call up Comcast and tell them you want to play DRM games, do your duty.
hurf durf ima 05er im smartr den u cuz u joined novmber.
Not even going to address your join date.
Hey would you like to sign my petition?!
Harris 5, are you sent by Ubisoft or something, because all you seem to do is bitch and moan about people telling the truth. I mean, some of the things you say aren't bad, but people want singleplayer games to NOT require internet. I don't want to have to be logged on to play Doom, and that was ages ago. DRM only encourages pirates, and thusly makes things worse. I demand the picture of the Pirated Installation vs. Installation with DRM.
Look, the worse the DRM is the more, well, you know. Just look at Spore. They'll get the message eventually.
This won't work unless you petition with your money.
Tut tut...a mod not reading the thread and re-posting what has been said...
Just don't buy the game, money has a bigger impact than an online petition, vote with your wallet.
This, End the petition now and shut them down with no money. As said, Petitions say "We're crying but we're gonna buy it anyway."
Harris 5, are you sent by Ubisoft or something, because all you seem to do is bitch and moan about people telling the truth.
Are you sent by Warez sites who make a killing off your ad views? Pirates arn't the noble truth seekers you think, they're just trying to make money by stealing game makers work and destroying any financial stability they had.
don't buy the game bro
Not even going to address your join date.
Alright, it's just an elitist troll everyone, nothing to see here move along.
This won't work unless you petition with your money.
late.
Alright, it's just an elitist troll everyone, nothing to see here move along.
When I hear things like this, I wish the strict auto-ban was back so people like you would shrivel up and vanish. But getting back to the matter at hand: If you can sign an internet petition, you can use this DRM. You've got no justifiable reason to complain unless you're a game stealing leech on the industry.

You completely missed the point: Join date elitism is stupid [editline]11:39PM[/editline]
When I hear things like this, I wish the strict auto-ban was back so people like you would shrivel up and vanish. Someone will crack that a day after it comes out, and everyones going to pirate it because they're pissed at Ubisoft, and they're going to come up with some new crazy scheme. And so it goes on. Forever. Sucks if you're in the country and you have some shitty connection that Dc's you in the middle of gameplay, hahaha.
The youth has forgotten how to actually revolt. Everyone's talking about it, nobody does it. That applies to pretty much everything.
Fuck this is true.
ubisoft haven't made anything good in years, so fuck them :fuckoff:

I shouldn't have to stop what I'm doing because of damage to a component which is unnecessary.
