My personal opinion - Nobody can top Rammstein Live. They might not be the best band ever, but their live shows are something else.

tho i also never saw LCD live and thats one of my big mistakes in life

and that was only 1/4 talking heads

i like it cuz its "smart" dance music without any bullshit pretentiousness about being "smart" or dumb "rave culture" references
apparently their live shows were amazing cuz james murphy used to be a PA designer/live mixer known for engineering brutal live shows; most of the hyped pitchfork bands sound completely terrible live

st vincent is pretty qt n thats an adorable story

imo rave culture is the most appallingly bad shit evr and it kills a lot of dance music for me
*the music aint that great to start with
LCD is great
its just unabashedly normal dance music and doesnt try to be hardcore with loads of hoovers and sweeps and shit, it just makes you want to move and that is great
