does anyone remember seeing those videos of that guy from SA who narrated an adventure in Pokemon? He played a sprite of himself and a sprite of the girl pokemon character. it was so fucking weird but I wanted to watch it again. the dude has like 30 episodes of this "story"

You should check it out, I'm sure you'd like it.

Went to see phoenix last night at the shepherds bush empire, fucking fun. Right front and centre, spent quite a bit of time with Thomas literally above above. Climbed up to the seats at one point too. And for once, not a shitty indie too-cool-to-dance crowd.

Is it bad that I've never actually been to a concert? No groups that I'm actually interested in come near here. Jeff Mangum was in Dallas, which was 3 hours away, but I actually had stuff to do then.

rarely go to concerts these days... as in like "big venue" stuff. Mostly smaller, more closely knit performances can sometimes be the best imo.

godspeed just announced new tour dates they are playing a few venues in europe, but none of them remotely close to the netherlands they are playing poland and france though. my guess is that this is an elaborate post-ww2 joke set up my efrim to piss of germany.

Being 2 metres away from fantastic talent in a room with only a few (about 50) is better than being 400 metres away from the performer with 10'000 yelling around you and drowning out the actual music...

too bad the chances of me meeting efrim are even slimmer than catching the band live AKZ but thanks for the insight
