I ate chicken curry at some chinese restaurant and it was fucking greasy, made me feel I'll. In music related news, I need new stuff to listen to. Been stuck on a few songs for the whole week, HaNL and Grails esque gloomy stuff please~
listen to moondog Was blind and wrote jazz music dressed as a norse god in the 30s how cool is that
help people who don't know when not to take me serious take me serious, what to do?
dont have to tell them to be critical of it, taking it with a grain of salt is better. being critical of every major news publication is dumb because they're not all the same
uhhhh what? be critical of EVERYTHING. [editline]30th March 2013[/editline]
Yes it was, actually. It's completely what I said. I'm surprised you aren't accepting that - The fact that i've been agreeing with you is kind of why I'm getting tetchy about the way you're responding. Then another post i made in that thread was saying that people need to be more critical of the media they take in. Which is what you're saying here unless I'm mistaken? And you still said it was retarded, which is just childish, from what I know of you I would expect a lot better
I'm saying ignore the "media" (assuming you mean the press, here) completely. By credence I don't mean "be critical" of those sites but "ignore completely" [editline]30th March 2013[/editline] which you said you don't do, therefor we disagree. sounds to me like you are just mad because I called you retarded. i don't literally think you are retarded. do you feel better now? jesus christ
music is pretty cool huh
nah bruh, music sucks
No such thing as music. Every sound can be considered music in one way or another, which also means that nothing can be considered music in one way or another. [editline]awd[/editline] because everything and nothing are kinda like the same thing imo
No such thing as music. Every sound can be considered music in one way or another
Nope.
Music? Ha! I can't believe you tards actually listen to this shit...
Nope.
I don't actually pay attention to what I write but it sounds plausible so it must be right.
I rap with my friends though, I'm learning
dude rapping with your friends when you're high as fuck is hella fun
I think Tame Impala is pretty good but these albums might be too long.

Sometimes I just read it because I'm bored - but I don't think I've ever listened to any of the stuff I've read about, and it would have to be a really rare occasion that I'd actually read a review - the interviews are more interesting. I have been saying that there's nothing that gives them an opinion worth hearing unless you're stupid and think that people who write in magazines are for some reason authorities on this sort of shit What I was doing in the last fm thread was thinking about why people DO read them in the first place, which I found pretty interesting, because obviously a lot of people do inform their taste via what they read about something and it's interesting to think about - but I wasn't trying to justify myself so I could feel better about the way I listen to music or anything, that would be useless and stupid. I think the above part got misinterpreted in that thread pretty heavily I mean I was basically playing devil's advocate but then it got really heated for some reason??
I think Tame Impala is pretty good but these albums might be too long.
Innerspeaker isn't fun, Lonerism is They're shit live though and basically another band that is trying to bring back the 60s but at least the songs are tight
all those buzz bands are terrible live i dont know why
It's pretty disappointing, I would have hoped that Tame Impala would be good live but they have a reputation for just going on really bad 10 minute psychedelic jams and basically involves them running around the stage hitting triangles I'm all for psych jams but they have to be done at least a little bit appealingly
Tame Impala weren't bad at all when I went to see them live, but I didn't have to deal with triangle jams due to the obscenely strict rules/time restrictions at the House of Blues.

Tame Impala are insanely overrated. everyone around here thinks they're god and there are many better fuzz bands. not to say they suck, they're just not the geniuses everyone says they are.
everyone around here thinks they're god and there are many better fuzz bands.
haven't heard lonerism but could you name a few?
man if i could have been there for can that would have been some shit dude
If I saw Damo Suzuki live in any situation I'd flip a shit if he was my mate I'd actually take vitamin C
Tame Impala are insanely overrated. everyone around here thinks they're god and there are many better fuzz bands. not to say they suck, they're just not the geniuses everyone says they are.
Not sure about that I don't listen to many fuzz bands and I don't think their main intention is to be a 'fuzz band' Lonerism had great songs though, really cool album Also another point elu what you just said can be a description for pretty much any band with mainstream appeal ever
Not sure anyone here only listens to Heavy Rocks
thats all i see in charts
thats all i see in charts
u do know they've released 2 albums called Heavy Rocks right?

[editline]31st March 2013[/editline]
all those buzz bands are terrible live i dont know why
b/c not actually talented and skyrocketed into the limelight w/o time to develop [editline]31st March 2013[/editline]
u do know they've released 2 albums called Heavy Rocks right?
yeah they are similar (to each other) and very different from the rest of their material.
