I've developed a love for US sitcoms, which ones can you recommend?

How I met your mother would be better if it wasn't told from a future version of the boring character, and instead was just acted out like other sitcoms.
I really like Fresh Prince of Bel-Air myself.
Frasier
King of Queens
Seinfeld
Everyone Loves Raymond
The Office That 70s Show
Malcolm in the Middle
ICarly
Almost an entire page and no Community? :what:
Community, 30 Rock, Seinfeld, Outsourced, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Modern family, arrested development, community(is fucking fantastic)
What about 3rd Rock from the Sun?
I thought it was a great show.
Malcolm in the Middle definitely
It's a great show because it feels like you can relate to it more instead of most sitcoms that go for punch lines and haha stuff. I'm not saying that's bad, but it's just that Malcolm is a different kind of sitcom, in a good way.
"Friends" is an excellent show about a group of friends and their day to day lives. It really represents my life and I can totally relate to everything that happens in the show. If you have friends, you will surely enjoy "Friends". Also, it has a great spinoff called Joey which is even more realistic. Also, if you don't have any friends, but you have family, then you might enjoy "Everybody Loves Raymond", another great show that every man can relate to. Mothers in law right guys? right?
I like How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory :saddowns:
Not every comedy has to be deeply interlectual and clever, sometimes it's fun to just kick back and watch them.

already got them all on box set :v:
i also watched the whole of malcolm in the middle a few years ago and thought it was fucking brilliant. thanks guys i'm checking all of them out!
Arrested Development is probably the most brilliant TV show that's ever been on any network of any sort. There's nothing that's funnier and clever.
I also like The Office, Seinfeld, and That '70s Show.
Scrubs, awesome sitcom (I think it's a sitcom at least).

Someone around here once said " Scrubs is a good show but don't watch all of the episodes at once " ( or something along the lines of that. )
I totally agree, while it's a pretty good show if you watch more than 3 episodes in one sitting you get to see how repetitive it actually is.
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is the best sitcom there is.

the most important aspect of a comedy is that it needs to be funny; it doesn't matter if it's simple or complex
big bang theory is unfunny
Modern Family all the way!
I'm not shamelessly promoting my youtube channel here, but I've uploaded clips onto it if you wanna check the show out:

Seriously, Modern Family best family
If you're really only going to watch one Sitcom. Make damn sure it's Arrested Development

I've never seen big bang theory but if darcy010 says he likes it and it's funny to him then I don't think he could give two shits about what you have to say
he has his opinion and you have yours, you cant state yours as fact
not too crazy about big bang theory but i do love how i met your mother. Yet, the newer episodes have gotten more serious and to the plot that its left less room for comedy.
Community
That 70's Show
Boy Meets World
Scrubs
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (more like It's Always Funny in Philadelphia, amirite?)
How I Met Your Mother (hit or miss, but when it hits it's absolutely hilarious.)

except his opinion is wrong
That hilarious show with Jim Belushi and his wife and sister.
Hannah Montana
That's so Raven
All classics that really represent the American middle class. If you are foreign and want to know what it is like to be American, those shows show of the average americans witty responses to every situation. Friends also does this, but I recommended it above.
iCarly, Sunny with a Chance, Wizards of Waverly Place.
great stuff
In no particular order:

Married... With Children

Frasier

Fresh Prince of Bel Air

Andy Richter Controls the Universe

Scrubs

[del]Two and a Half Men[/del] (just kidding)

Undeclared

The Office

Eastbound and Down
I haven't seen Arrested Development nor It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but I plan to check them out sometime soon.
Its rich to say stuff like how I met your mother and big bang theory are unfunny when there thousands of people who disagree.
If a show was objectively unfunny it would not be popular but seeing as they are popular it must be concluded that people do find these shows funny, people who tout their opinions as fact are actually more unfunny.
That said go for Arrested Development and the Office to start.
Frasier and Scrubs are probably my favourite American sitcoms.
