I know the feeling as I went through that about 8 months ago, it's really terrible. I don't really know what to tell you other than try not to dwell on it too much...you'll heal with time and be open to meeting someone new again in the future. The way I see relationships is, if they don't work out, no matter how much I may have loved someone, it just means they weren't the right one for me. It's cliche, but it's true.
You at least learn a ton from your first relationship, knowledge you can apply for future relationships. In the meantime I'd try and keep yourself occupied. I hope you feel better soon.

MAC addresses are only broadcasted across different LAN segments so no. Without involvement from someone's ISP, it's pretty difficult to knock just one person who has a dynamic IP.

My PC died like 4 days ago, my display drivers kept crashing so I went to reboot only to find I wasn't getting a display anymore. My LCD poster for the MB kept showing everything was booting successfully without a hitch, so naturally I figured the video card died.
Luckily my dad let me have one of his cards, was the same one I had previously so I just plonked it in and all was fixed. I still need to dust it out though...don't have any canned air at the moment sadly.
