The concept of not being able to marry a guy is quite foreign to me up in Canada.
Your country obviously isn't free enough.
Damn, my job must be the weirdest job around here, I work as an IT technician on a filter factory :v: We make filters and shit, it's pretty cool except for my minimum wage, considering I'm not THE responsible technician. This job makes my resume way prettier though
I've returned from a two week visit to Pittsburgh. I had a fantastic time and got to meet another Facepuncher (aside from my current boyfriend) while I was there.
kind of a random question, but what's pittsburgh like? i'm almost certainly going to end up at the university of pittsburgh because they're offering me full tuition, but i've never even been to the city. :I i'm planning to go on a tour of the university some time in the next month, but i'd like some other opinions as well.
Is it bad that me and my bf don't want to get married because we both see it as just a massive waste of money with no benefits?
hello new gay chat thread c:
The concept of not being able to marry a guy is quite foreign to me up in Canada.
Imagine how people in Alberta feel

The Uni has a pretty decent cafeteria if that matters to you. Dorms are kind of small, but I guess that's no surprise. It's also located in a fairly nice area, however it's not exactly 'downtown', but it's close enough.
Is it bad that me and my bf don't want to get married because we both see it as just a massive waste of money with no benefits?
I thought getting married didn't cost that much? And there were some benefits with taxes and stuff like that
gay marriage is legal in maine so i can gay it up as much as i want to
and Illinois is next as well.
WOOOO new thread, take it all in~ zydos' story for today: that incredibly awkward life-choice when you have to decide how big to portray your dick to a cashier Buying condoms (regular and magnum) and lube for myself and the quasi-bf for the convention, so when I take em to the checkout (all I'm buying) the lady goes "Oh how are you" "Oh fine thanks, yourself?" "The best!" "Woah, the best?! That's like... REALLY good" and she says "Yupp, its the way to be!.... so, which is for whom?" then that awkward pause of trying to decide whether you want it to appear that you have a huge dick, or just a normal one.. I mean it's not THAT big, but still.. "Oh uhm, these are for me"[pokes magnum] and she goes "Ohh my.. 24.75 please.. you two have fun, eh?" "We'll try~" I finish the transaction and as I turn around I get the biggest "eeeeeeee fuck awk" grin, no problem. I just love it when cashiers ask about the size of my dick. Don't worry, he's the magnum. Jesus.
Here in CT I've had the rights to get gay married since 2008. I don't know if I want to get married though, I'm really shy about my sexuality even when I'm not in the closet, and something about having a ceremony in front of my family/friends scares me.
Running into people from facepunch on completely unrelated parts of the internet. amazing
I once ran into a facepuncher with a different spelling of "SPACE MARINE" in Battlefield 3.

[editline]28th February 2013[/editline]
Running into people from facepunch on completely unrelated parts of the internet. amazing
I may have run into another thread member 15 years ago. That is a is a big maybe though.
i'm american but for some reason most people are really surprised when they hear my voice because they thought i was british and i have no idea why
being american makes me feel so un-special
The awkward moment when you go out with your vriends to have fun and meetup with an old friend and his older brother whom you haven't seen in a long while and realize that he's incredibly cute but incredibly straight. Its also funny because they took me to this pool hall they go to and I love pool, then all they do is play pingpong in a fucking pool hall and its the only gay one that wants to play the manly gentlemanly gme of billiards. Pittsburgh is fantastic. Tons of hospitals, colleges, restaurants, stores, anything you could need. And you get to experience basically every type of weather because it's like a rollercoaster here. It was chosen to host the G20 Summit back in 2009 too, which is a p big deal
pittsburgh is gay boston is boss ho ho hohohoh
I wish i was Canadian, america sucks now.

Goddamn, that makes me feel so horrifically stupid :( At any rate, I'm going there in the fall and I didn't find it all that bad. It's a really good school for engineering and premed (some of the engineering classes are done in co-op with Carneige Mellon, which is one of the best engineering schools in the country). However, I heard there's lots of rednecks that go to that school. I heard they're not really that accepting of openly gay people there, either, but I'm not quite sure how true that is.
