I finally got to play Smallworld with some friends today. It's a fun game.
Also, my friend is coming back tomorrow, he's been gone for a week and a half. The plan is for him to just get home, clean up, and then come over and spend whatever's left of Sunday at my place. Video games and cuddling on the couch and all that.
I had a productive day today and I got to bike for 6 hours in the freezing cold. After a hot shower and dinner I feel great :p

I don't either. I remember years ago i actually introduce most of FP to the guy's works because at the time he was doing Problem Sleuth, which was just so hilariously awesome. Homestuck kind of went out there in the weird zone much more quickly than problem sleuth.
I'm surprised of his ignorance around my university though given that a lot of people here are like me and don't have social lives and have their fingers on the pulse of what's happening on the internet.
That and the fact that Andrew Hussie (the guy behind it all) went to my university.
I really want to go to see Soundgarden in May. As a huge grunge fanatic, it'd be fantastic to see one of the last grunge greats play live.
If I was to go I'd bring my best friend because he [I]looooves[/I] Soundgarden. I want to save my money for the tablet I want though. :\
Soundgarden doesn't do much for me now. Probably because after they did their new recording "Live to Rise" for Avengers, it was played continuously on a small track loop in the theatres i work at for about 6 months. We kept it longer than most tracks because we kept avengers for about 5 months since it was doing so well. It was out on blu ray and dvd a month already by the time we took it out of theatres.

Well, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains are both the same genre, so they have a very similar style.

It's that i don't like them it's that i've heard them way too much on the radio and at work. I'm not talking about just Live to Rise but also everything else.
My city is a city big on grunge and essentially pioneered the east coast to love grunge so we don't just play the really well known stuff on radios but as well as everything between.

Philadelphia. Hence why i said east coast.
My city was one of the first cities to bring Grunge to to the east coast, for isntance, Pearl Jam directly attributes their widespread fame to Wmmr, a local philadelphia radio station.
