To be more specific, i've recently been partial to STS9 and Pretty Lights.
I might go see STS9 with Tycho soon! They have some really neat stuff. Pretty Lights (and his whole label) also puts out pure gold
So what are all us gays listening to?
GTA VC Soundtrack
Woah, you're getting full tuition? Goddamn, that makes me feel so horrifically stupid :(
At any rate, I'm going there in the fall and I didn't find it all that bad. It's a really good school for engineering and premed (some of the engineering classes are done in co-op with Carneige Mellon, which is one of the best engineering schools in the country). However, I heard there's lots of rednecks that go to that school. I heard they're not really that accepting of openly gay people there, either, but I'm not quite sure how true that is.
[editline]27th February 2013[/editline]
Is it bad if this was one of my deciding factors of why I'm going? :v:
[sp]I really didn't look at any other schools :/[/sp]
Well hey, it'd be cool to see another Facepuncher around. And I have some friends already going there, and some friends that are headed off to Carnegie Mellon, so I guess I'd have some sort of social life.
I really don't know what I want to do in college yet, though. I'm very interested in English and literature, but I'm also interested in having a job so that's out the window. I'm considering majoring in physics as well, but I'd also like to not die of overwork in college, so...

I can be in Moorhead, MN in 15 minutes walking.
So I came out to another group of my friends when they asked me if I was gay because I was trying to correct them about transgenderism.
Heres a list of questions in order that you should expect from friends who don't know much
Are you serious?
Why don't you look gay?
Can you prove you're gay?
When did you realize that you were gay?
Have you ever sucked a dude's dick?
Do you like anyone in this school?
What type of gays do you like?
What the fuck is a twink?
How would you have sex if you're both tops?
Do you like black dick?
Do you prefer big penises or small penises?
What do you think of fabulous~ gays?
The one that really gets me is 'Can you prove you're gay?'
Like.
Why do I need to prove it?

Well they didn't think I was gay, they thought it was just one big joke because I kept laughing when they didn't think I was gay.
Well they didn't think I was gay, they thought it was just one big joke because I kept laughing when they didn't think I was gay.
A small group of people know I am gay, but basically the whole school thinks I am, because I have 2 main goals for school.
1. Learn shit so I can get a good job and into a good college.
2. Have a good time.
Part 2 consists of acting extremely gay around my good friends, cept the ones who know I am, and it is a riot, and if I come out, everybody would believe me.

"can you prove you're straight?!" (if they're single ofc)
reversing the questions works for a lot of them really
Not enough room and the download/upload is slow.
Google Drive/Skydrive
Depends on if you want to upload stuff to share via hotlinks or not, or just have a kind of cloud storage thing that you can access from any pc/whatever
Sheeeit, I keep giving myself up to some more experienced woman. Whenever they say something like: "Hahah, she's calling you gay, dude!" I say out loud: "ME? GAY? NO WAY HAHAHAH", it's the second time I do this instinctively, women have something, I dunno, special to do this man, it's weird.

Dude I'm so fucking jelous
I'd love to STS9, they put out amazing live shows from what I hear (they are mostly a live-performance type group so it makes sense)
Of course STS9 doesn't ever tour near any states where I live or anything lol

It's not as bad as it seems. Still pretty bad going over dense material all the time and getting your ass handed to you during test time once in a while, but it's ultimately rewarding. At least for me.
[editline]28th February 2013[/editline]
Unless you meant double majoring, well in that case, good luck buddy :v:
I've actually heard physics is NOT a good field to go in as you become severely limited in marketable jobs. Pretty much it's either: Teach or do research.

I've had loads of questions like the ones above asked to me. I usually counter with exactly this.
One of my friends was like
"So you fucked a dude?"
"well not yet...."
"then how do you know you're gay?"
"Have you fucked a chick yet?"
"nah"
"THEN HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU'RE STRAIGHT?"
My roommate also randomly asked me a question about a week ago at 2am while we were both trying to sleep. Out of the the blue he just asked me if gay guys check out other guys asses. All i could say there is "Are you kidding me?".
Then he refused to believe that, if anything, gay men probably like checking out asses more than most straight guys.

It actually opens you to other fields than the sciences because employers know you know you are analytical and good at problem solving. I know a lot of physics people going into finance for example.

Taking a secondary language helps alot with this too, which is why I'm sticking with German all four years of highschool so I can get some college credit for it.
And so I can speak German, ofc.

Physics sounds neat but too time consuming for me, I probably will have to do some of it if I am going to be an aerospace engineer.
Finally sending in my job application, christ that took me too long. Hopefully very soon I can become a contributing member of Americas great labor system! Capitalism!

I have a feeling that I'm going to have to deal with more questions like that considering this group has "connections" with the popular kids.
I've just gotten asked "Are you scared of vaginas" over facebook by some woman I don't even fucking know.

Those sound like people you don't really want to be friends with in the first place.
