Once in chemistry we went on an excursion to a big science lab and were using the equipment there (mass spectrometers and shit). We had to put vodka into one beaker, and water into another. We forgot to label ours before starting, and my friend and I were like, "... fuck." So I had the brilliant idea of going, "wait, I know! I'll SMELL the contents of the beakers to see which one is the vodka, and which is the water!" And while holding one of the beakers under my nose it suddenly occurred to me, "... shit, Vodka is nearly odourless".

Are you sure it isn't the taste you don't like, but the strength of it? My favourites are Jager and Jack Daniels, but they and the majority of the spirits posted here can take some getting used to if you want to drink them straight. I still mix spirits with soda and juice even though I have no problem drinking them straight, it lets you enjoy it more and you don't risk getting too drunk too quickly as much. There's no shame in doing that.

Good single malt whiskey, good Wodka (all the cheap mainstream stuff is bad)

Get a single malt, they're generally smoother then blends. Also I prefer not to put ice in whiskey, I like the taste better without it, experiment with it. Maybe the classic gin & tonic would do it for you? Jenever is pretty tasteless but warms you up real good, might want to try it if it's available in your country.
