What is the least horrible tasting alcohol? (Spirits) - General

Vodka, I can down a whole bottle in a night, but a glass or two of whiskey makes me chug.

Too many people in this thread just looking for shit to get wasted on. If you want that, buy everclear. If you actually want something drinkable go for a cognac or a scotch. If your taste buds died many years ago, most of the cheap whiskey and bourbon (jack, jim, southern...) from wal-mart will probably seem good to you.

I've worked in a bar for a little while now, before i started i would drink southern comfort and beer and not a whole lot else. Some of the tastiest and simple drinks i've had people order since are: [b]A Ralph[/b] (named after the guy who orders it regularily) 1. Pint Glass 2. Ice 3. Double shot of dark rum (house is actually better than brand) 4. Single shot of Jack Daniels 5. Slice of lime, rubbed around the rim of the glass 6. Another slice of lime, placed in the drink 7. Topped up as far as you like with coke [b]Dark and Stormy[/b] 1. Pint or half glass (half glass for stronger drink) 2. Double shot of dark rum 3. Single slice of lime 4. Topped up with alcoholic ginger beer Also if you have them in the pint (or whatever the biggest measure in your country is) version then they will last you a good while and keep you from spending as much, even if they are quite pricey drinks.

The barman at my local makes his own spirit called Firewater, tastes very much like a spicy kind of candy to begin with but after 15 minutes it BURNS and you get pretty wasted.
