A lot of the time image macros are unfunny and just plain eyesore, but I'm voting no since I think this ban reason is overused (even misused). It shouldn't be possible to get banned for posting a SFW image macro in an image thread, which has actually occurred more than once.
Most of the dumbassery on these boards cannot be blamed on image macros however. Bring back the Smartness system and I'll cry tears of joy.
