I think because that will be what every user will be doing. It will make the forum threads messy and the will be alot scrolling to do. I think the mods have gave us alot of freedom and stopped being ban crazy. We need to have some rules. By the way this is not 4chan.

I think all the generic and shitty macros that people repost a thousand times a day definitely need to be bannable on sight - those are irritating. But some people put a fair bit of effort into their own custom pictures and such that actually make you laugh... I like to take photos or images in a thread and manipulate them to stress the obvious mistakes or flaws in them in a light hearted way, like so; [URL]http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=17686478&postcount=271[/URL] [URL]http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=17702823&postcount=281[/URL] They're all based on screenshots posted regarding the mod, and I tried to put some effort into them to at least make them funny. It sure beats the shit out of Austin Powers puns or "I see what u did thar" macros and all that repetitive gayshit. I think something like this is acceptable - just so long as someone's put some effort into it.

I voted no because i think that if it is a funny macro (i.e. it makes sense) like the Austin Powers stuff. I actually find some of those really funny. But i think if certain image macros we're allowed then it would just become a shitty forum where everyone responded via image macros and just replied saying "lol". So overall i kind of think it should still be a ban reason unless people can grow up and not post cat haz cheezburger pictures.
