But I guess you would still get banned for saying what you did there meme without a picture.

What I don't get is why emoticon only replies with the same purpose are not bannable also?
Such as someone posts an image macro saying "deal with it" and would possibly be banned yet if someone were to post the emoticon "deal with it" with nothing else to say they don't get banned?
