In my opinion, this movie was shit. The only thing that saved this movie from being bad and making it simply decent was the tie ins with Iron Man. Just because it had Howard Stark and at the very end, that same actor from Iron Man 2. I guess they meant it to be like that, or maybe not, but for me it's the only thing that saved the movie.
"Captain America: The First Avenger" Now stop and think, if he's the first. Who are the others. Then come back and act surprised it ties in with Iron Man.
I don't think FinalHunter is aware of the Marvel tie-ins and what they're leading to.
I'm now wondering how Avengers is going to go. I am looking forward to it, but I can't imagine it will be very good or make a whole lot of sense unless it's quite a long movie.
I've seen a page of Samuel L Jacksons leaked script [sp]A scene where Hulk transforms in a dark room in an exploding shield carrier, and Tony gets his suit on. The way the dialogue flows suggests it's the first time[/sp] and it flows fine.
Iron Man 3 is coming after the Avengers in 2013.
If it's just more action like Iron Man 2 then I won't be looking forward to it much. The first movie had a really nice blend of action and likable character.
Iron Man 2 didn't have enough Whiplash/Backlash or whatever he was called. He neded to do more of the fucking up with the whips. I know in the comics he doesn't really succeed much, but in the movie it was kind of silly. He goes up against Iron Man once, ends up in jail after a short amount of time, then goes up against Iron Man and Warmachine and ends up dying, it was like all he did.
I don't really care about marvel characters/superheroes but the idea of super heroes fighting in world war 2 against nazi-super villians sounds pretty awesome. Are there a lot of scenes about captain America beating up nazis? Or is it more the drama kind of super hero movie.

After that it is pretty consistent with the Nazi ass kicking.
I'd fondue with Howard or Tony any day. Not at the same time though.
I guess you'd be... ...double dipping.
This movie was really, really good. I almost cried at the part when [sp]Captain America flew the plane into the ice and the radio went silent[/sp] [editline]6th August 2011[/editline] actually that whole sequence of him flying was fucking sad.
A good third of the movie is Steve Pre-Captain. After that it is pretty consistent with the Nazi ass kicking.
He doesn't really fight Nazis, considering how HYDRA breaks off of Nazi Germany not even half way through the movie, and he only fights HYDRA.
I just wish HYDRA were made to look a Credible threat. They had a great look, awesome technology and weaponry, but the men themselves were like leaves in the wind.
I just wish HYDRA were made to look a Credible threat. I understand why a lot of people wouldn't like this, but I do. Gives it a good contrast between the movies set in the present and this one, because the comics have that same contrast.
Captain America probably has the saddest story out of all of them, I mean think about it, [sp]He loses his new friend the Doctor who turned him into a superhero, he loses his best friend Bucky and then he loses the his only love interest by crashing that plane into the ice to save millions. Only to wake up 70 years later in a strange and confusing (by his standards) future.[/sp] That's really depressing when you think about it.

He was just kind of like "Oh hey, this is new. Oh well." and moved on with his life.
His reaction kind of ruined the tragedy, IMO. He was just kind of like "Oh hey, this is new. Oh well." and moved on with his life.
From the Avengers trailer it doesn't look like he just moved on. He seems pretty depressed and rather angry.

Be worried about whats going about not or be crying about your dead/very old girlfriend.
Guys guys guys can we please move on to the real topic at hand here Hayley Atwell is hot as fuck.

Anyone here sad that there wasn't any Hitler punching? Also, who's the blonde chick that kissed him? And the USO dancers are hot.
Anyone here sad that there wasn't any Hitler punching? Also, who's the blonde chick that kissed him? And the USO dancers are hot.
I believe the blond girl was Natalie Dormer The Dancers are Rosanna Hoult, Naomi Slights, and Kirsty Mather.
The terrible attempt at Norwegian during the beginning of the movie :( It's like "The Thing" all over again. Why can't Hollywood cast some Norwegian actors living in US/UK instead of asking British actors to pronounce Norwegian words?
I hate it whenever they have movies asking actors to portray someone of different nationality and they end up speaking FUCKING ENGLISH.
Yeah. No clue why a bunch of sorta-Nazis would be speaking English to each other fluently.
I was giggling at that but then I realized it was a superhero movie so I stopped caring
Yeah. No clue why a bunch of sorta-Nazis would be speaking English to each other fluently.
I know why they were speaking English. So we didn't have to read the whole fucking movie.
Reading subtitles is as normal to me as breathing is.
Green Lantern is at least 10 times better than this shit. I don't know what you're talking about. Green Lantern was great.
do you get sexual pleasure from bad movies or something or do you just have terrible taste in film
