It was definitely an enjoyable movie. There seemed to be a lot more action in this one than the previous Marvel films I must say. Also, something tells me this is going to start being used a LOT on the internet...
Did anyone else notice before the ending of the movie, [sp]Redface's green Voison C7 car passed by when the kids enter the building[/sp]? I mean, it wasn't really difficult to notice but it might seem to have some relevance. I don't know anything about Captain America or the comics itself, though.

I really damn enjoyed this movie. Probably my favorite Marvel since the first Iron Man.
The golden age feeling remind me of Sky Captain. Really nice.
I loved the way The Red Skull looked. It could have easily looked really fake and stupid, but in this instance it was pretty awesome.
My friend and I started laughing at the "How about a nice cup of shut the fuck up" propaganda poster in the credits

Funny how Tucci still looks down even though it isn't edited
The ending made me sad, but I can't wait for The Avengers.

Yeah, saw it this afternoon. Didn't actually want to leave the house because of my scabs from chickenpox but hell, it was opening day here so I couldn't resist. Absolutely enjoyed the movie. Those numerous moments of humour were nice. Pity about the number of people who left after it ended. Stay for the Avengers teaser, damn it!

I like how in her review she gives the years of WWII, lol. Seriously, if someone does NOT know when WWII took place, what does telling them "started in 1939 and continued into the mid 40s" accomplish? Is there someone out there who knows what the world was like in the 40s(period design) but somehow doesn't know there was a WORLD WAR going on at the time?

That should be enough of an explanation why.
That was great. I'm psyched for the Avengers.
I found the movie kinda lame perhaps Im a little biased but I think Captain America is the most boring Marvel character hopefully Avengers will be better.

It's time for reviews
Just got back from seeing it, thought it was bloody brilliant. Way better than Thor was, anyway. There was the moment where Hayley Atwell's character goes to shoot the Hydra saboteur and a car explodes behind her, as seen in the trailer. [sp]I turned to my friend about to make a joke about her thinking "I'm super badass" before the explosion distracts her, but before I could say anything, she took aim again and shot the driver in the back of the head. That shut me up.[/sp] Also, [sp]how long was that hangar for the Hydra plane thing? They must've been going at, like, 70-80 mph for most of it, and the scene probably lasted around a minute, so that hangar must've been, what, a few miles long?[/sp]
the stan lee cameo was cool
I thought it was refreshing to see a nice, old-school, noblest-of-all-the-Greeks kind of protagonist after so many bullshit anti-heroes.

Saw it 3 days ago, awesome film. I'm still wondering about the ending where [sp]Steve ends up in modern day America. At first I thought he died... but he was knocked out for that long?[/sp]
[sp]He was frozen in the ice. Due to his body's regenerative capability, he could be thawed out even after those 70 years.[/sp]
My friend and I started laughing at the "How about a nice cup of shut the fuck up" propaganda poster in the credits Funny how Tucci still looks down even though it isn't edited
Did they actually put that poster in the credits? I'm assuming it was censored in some way or another.
That poster was there, it didn't have the shut the fuck up part written on it of course, since that was added separately. edit: in the theater I was in only maybe three or four other people laughed when they showed it
I remember the series of retro posters and the catchy music for the credits.
Movie was fucking awesome Though Bucky's [sp]death was a bit weak since he died too fast[/sp] But everyone in my theater stayed for the teaser and when the teaser ended everyone cheered, was a fun movie and a fun experience.

The ending was so sad. :(
