Also their other argument is insulting people who say otherwise.
Because its obviously easy to clean up multiple oil spills at any given time.
Did you know that the money not spent on BP is magically turned into sponge that can absorb all of the oil in the gulf? Now THAT'S a reason to boycott BP! :D
gasmaskalt are you sam?
gasmaskalt are you sam?
Yep.
Facts: BP didn't make the rig, BP didn't own the rig, BP was just the company buying oil from the drillers - yes, they put un-necessary pressure on them to get more oil out of the well, but every company with half a mind would try to get as much money in as little time as possible, otherwise they'd be a shit company. BP are now spending immense amounts of money (which realistically will end them as a company) trying to clean up the mess. It's fucking incredible that people are retarded enough to think boycotting BP would do any good at all.
I put this as my status on Facebook, with a little bit of stuff I added. I'm curious to see the replies I get.
I boycott BP, and I'm not trolling. I will not support BP in anyway. I am not going to give them my money to fix the problem they caused. And you people that say, "oh it wasn't BP", please explain to me how renting something means you don't have to take any blame for it if you mess it up? That oil rig was being rented in BP's name.

Any time a multi-million dollar project goes on in order to solve an issue running rampant, it is usually applied first to the country that had began/runs the program.
Yep.
hi, im adam nice to meet you
This is so much fun to read.

For instance, my brother works for Dolphin Drilling, who has contacts with several companies, including BP. The contractor owns the rig, and is responsible for maintaining it.
Yeah but it's child play to boycott them over a mistake. And really, it's a mistake, and really, boycotting does nothing.
Couldn't agree more.
Boycotting BP stations is stupid not only for the reasons everyone has done here. The fact of the matter is that the profit BP gets from gas stations pretty much amounts to the branding, BP gas stations are operated totally separately from BP.
hi, im adam nice to meet you
You need to troll people less so they take you more seriously. But keep it up I guess, it's a good read and it definitely shows how ignorant people are.

They were able to pressure them on many things. Which in end caused safety failure. This rig isn't the only problem BP has had. "Two BP refineries not only account for 97% of all "flagrant" violations in the U.S. refining industry, but most of the violations cited were classified as "egregious willful," according to a Center for Public Integrity investigation of Occupational Safety and Health Administration records." BP is just a shit company, sorry.

Hi, my name is April, im 50 something and nobody wants anything to do with me anymore. My body degraded into slushy goo at age 18 after being used up by my stepfather. To make myself feel better i post bigoted opinions of everything on face...book. Once my boyfriend dumps me i will not be able to do this anymore as i am using his internet. Sound about right? KYLE BARNES YOU ARE MY FUCKING HERO

You have to like the group before you can post. [editline]04:19AM[/editline] I now understand why people on the internet track down and kill people they argue with. This april bitch is so stuck up her own arse she'll just keep going on with her stupid shit until she dies.
People are generally very narrow minded and idiotic individuals. It's why I come back to this forum everyday, because most of you are not
These people do not know how to argue.
i was blocked from posting on facebook. oh my god.
Why boycott them their gas is cheaper because of the spill.
Who do Americans call Oil Gas?
Who do Americans call Oil Gas?
yeah and i was blocked from commenting on it so... umm.. someone else continue the argument for me and ill watch edit: kyle tell them i was blocked because of my opinion and how people dont like it for me please? thanks :D
Anyone blaming BP for what happens need a good punch in the face. Fuck boycotting though, let the government dish out justice in this case.
I'm trying frog, but nobody is replying anymore.
