Let's boycott BP so they can't afford to fix their problem! /sarcasm

I almost think that I would buy gas from BP if there was a station near my house. But there isn't. I guess they're handling the situation really well and its not like the big wigs directly operated that oil rig. Its not really their fault.
Oh cool, a group dedicated to people who haven't reached a state of sentience or rational thought.
And it's based around the controversial BP situation for bonus points. Fabulous.
I'm going to delete all of my posts in that longer conversation. If sheldon is on here, he needs to do that too. Make it look like April is arguing with herself.

Why'd you put a link there leading to FacePunch? :raise:
One of the reasons I love Facebook. It gives me free rain to troll the ever-loving shit out of idiots who don't know anything but facebook. April sounds like a right laugh. But making her look crazy could be more fun.
BP may have owned the well that went. But when you are dealing with volatile, high pressure and high maintenance stuff like oil drilling, you should expect problems. If they overpressured the workers and well with stupid demands they hold some responsibility, but the manufacturer of the well hold some too for not stopping the while fiasco when the well started showing signs of damage.
And BP have done so much to fix the leak itself, the actual spill cleanup will take a lot of effort too though, considering how much spilled.

Google bombing/ dropping. Link a website with a piece of text you want as a search tag enough times and the Google bots will pick up that people can find the site using "fucking incredible".
Since I probably wouldn't talk to or socialize with the people that would boycott BP in real life(teens that are "against" the man/power but they buy cd's from bestbuy), it really doesn't seem to be important to me that I don't get gas from a certain company.
Because BP refused to follow safety protocols, they killed many American citizens. This would be an act of war if it weren't for NATO.

Yes, because America would invade a company's HQ.
British Petroleum is a government owned company. Politicians have a lot more influence over a company in Europe than in the USA.
So somehow it's Britain's fault?
My aunt is a Public Relations Rep for BP. She said she was getting death treats days after the rig sank. It's sad that people are that stupid.
yeah let's kill your aunt for doing her job while someone else didn't
Maybe if they didn't tax the hell out of all their companies, British Petroleum would be able to afford American safety standards.
By the way the name was changed from ''British Petroleum'' to ''BP'' about 10 years ago. Don't blame the government they have to tax.
"British Petroleum" is still used today.
America has always disliked communists. Despite what you may say, Britain is a communist group of countries. Remember the Vietnam War was against communists who did nothing to America. British communists just killed many American citizens.
A war against Britain would be way more justifiable than the Vietnam War, but too bad the rest of Europe wouldn't let America do that.

No it isn't, it's 49% American

The British government sold BP 30 years ago. :downs:
Edit: Oh wait it was a troll :downs:
Just read the first page but you've got to see it from both angles. BP are slightly at fault for being a normal company and putting added pressure on the drilling company to put lifes at risk like they did to get them the oil faster to fill there pockets.
But at the same time it wasn't there fault due to the blow out preventer which is "Supposed" to stop these things from happening wasn't correctly working so didn't work. I do believe it was the type of gas all rigs hate was hidden in the oil as well which also caused the issue.
BP don't "have" to put any money into the company that was drilling the oil that caused the explosion because they were the ones who owned that rig but being them they did.
After reading a few other things that suggested that really it wasn't BPs fault you ask "Why did he get fined so much" it was the drilling companies responsibility to provide a safe working place I'm sure the law is the same in every country that the work place must be as safe as it can be where here it obviously wasn't and that wasn't the fault of BP as the drilling company could have turned round and told them that it would make the rig unsafe.
Haha, I love seeing the same four people on the Facebook page post ridiculous things about the oil spill, some of which don't even seem to be true.
You appear to have incorrectly assumed that either everyone is from America or only America has news channels. I live in the UK why should I give a fuck about an oil spill in America?
(And the fact its BP doesn't make a difference)
You apparently misunderstood what I said. If you actually read the post, you'd see that I was saying that Americans are more prone to care about the things that will directly effect them, rather than an oil spill in China, which is for the most part not in the average American's mind.
