You need to use a better higher mAH battery with your flight box to make the most of it. The stock batteries are shit. I own the flight box, it's great for a starter vaporizer, and the lifetime warranty is a nice perk.
I heard that the newer batches have better Glyph batteries, is this true? I have glyphs from a nearly new box but I have powerex 2700's as well. I'm not getting anywhere near as high as I used to with the MFLB but I keep finding possible reasons, refuting them and realising it's likely just tolerance or something.
The Pax seems cool, I need to try it with some fresh tree, last time I tried the Pax it tasted terrible, but that was due to the dingus putting tobacco in it. The only thing I don't like about the Pax is that it seems that you have to put your mouth over the orifice to hit it correctly.
well yeah it's a portable vaporizer not a volcano, give me one vape that's just as small that you don't have to hit with your mouth over the vapor chamber i guess you could just kind of suck on the corner where the little vent slits are for the vapor [editline]30th June 2014[/editline] even the huge ones like the cloud evo you still have to put your mouth on like a bong, you'd be wasting vapor if you let it pool out the corner of your mouth

Soon enough I'm going to order the easy valve set on eBay and see if that doesn't loose vapor when I am filling the bag..

All I can tell you is that the black edition Sanyo Eneloop batteries (2500mAH i believe) are awesome and are a night and day improvement over the shitty batteries they give you. Also if you're not getting as high try refining your hitting technique. Some people really struggle to hit it. The key is watching for the vapor to form in the tube, and then pulling consistently getting a little faster at the end to stop the tree in the trench from browning too quickly. If you taste it in your mouth and you blow out a decent bit of vapor then you've got a good hit, and if you're not high do that about five more times and you should definitely be high (3 is usually enough for me of my stuff). My main peeve with putting your lips over the orifice is that it's not as easy to share which is obviously a nice feature.
IMO I found the magic flights to be a little weak for my liking, my friend has one. I'd imagine getting the power adapter accessory (so you can plug it into the wall for more consistent power) would be essential so you get more powerful hits.
With a proper grind (important for any vaporizer), glyph batteries (now the stock batteries) and right technique (read the manual, learn about microhits) and the launchbox is just as effective as any high end vaporizer. So far I've played with a PAX, Arizer Solo, Iolite Wispr, Arizer Extreme Q and I have a Pinnacle Pro coming. I have two launch boxes because they just work, plus the lifetime warranty is a winner.
For portable vapes, you really can't go wrong with a PAX, an Arizer Solo, or a Vapir NO2. All pretty solid from my experience. If you're going for desktop vapes, the Silver Surfer and the Volcano are both amazing. Pricey, but a damn good investment.
