I'd say your a dumbass, but considering your pic is a GIF of Justin Bieber, I can tell this isn't your first big mistake.
U mad? BTW good luck buying 151,200 liters of helium You'd need about 31790 cubic ft of it, each of which goes for about 2 pounds. Have fun wasting your life savings
Neither are you a grammar expert
Actually, what he said was completely grammatically correct. "Facepunch" can (and does in this case) refer to more than one person, i.e. the facepunch userbase, therefore making the word "are" the right word to use. [editline]03:08PM[/editline] The fact that "engineers" was plural should have tipped you off :colbert:
U mad?
Back to /b/ with you, troll!
You'd need about €8000 for the helium alone. [editline]09:17PM[/editline] Oh and maybe also some money to get an engineering degree
OP is dumb and his project is doomed to failure. It would probably cost 50,000 dollars or more to build something like this, and he would need more than just one man to put this thing together. i give this thread a C-
Paint a giant FP logo when it's complete so you can gloat and brag to all that told you that you couldn't in this thread
Well, this was an epic fail.

i.e. you're a dumbass you don't have 50,000 dollars to freely spend in fact, you're 12
1, who said I didn't have money? 2, who says it's a one-man project? 3, I defy all sense of logic until I find out for myself.
The fact that you're asking for help on Facepunch to build a complicated and dangerous flight vehicle shows you don't have much sense.
i.e. you're a dumbass you don't have 50,000 dollars to freely spend in fact, you're 12
For one, I'm 18, been so since august. 2, who says I'm not saving up every penny I make for a few years?
is this what your talking about OP?
Kick reason in the head, yeah?
Good luck with that ship. You dont need an engineering degree to try, but an education would probably help you, knowing what the hell are you doing helps alot. I dont know much about this stuff, but making a smaller copy of that ship before making the real thing would be a good idea
Kick reason in the head, yeah?
Seems that your familiar with my way of thinking, along with the origin of my pic for that matter. Stay in school, kid. Maybe then you can study physics and learn you'll need A LOT OF HELIUM to even bother approaching this. Wooden ships also weigh TONS.
you were kicked in the head as a child if you're not a troll keep in mind that this will never work. good luck with your lack of logic when you kill yourself building or attempting to fly this

Replace that "would probably help you" with "is absolutely needed".
$50,000? Bwahaha. Think a couple million.
I was attempting to be optimistic OP is 50,000 times more optimistic than I am though [editline]3:33[/editline] 50,000 times more optimistic? Bwahaha, what am I thinking, more like a couple million
Ah, I love how they call me a child when I specifically state "SERIOUS Airship Discussion" and they bring all kinds of spam and flame to my thread.
But what if he does it and becomes a supervillain guys "I'LL SHOW THEM. I'LL SHOW THEM ALL!"
OP you had better start earning your millions of dollars now, go mow some lawns or something :v:
Ah, I love how they call me a child when I specifically state "SERIOUS Airship Discussion" and they bring all kinds of spam and flame to my thread.
We're being serious by saying this is a dumb and impossible idea for you to accomplish.
Ah, I love how they call me a child when I specifically state "SERIOUS Airship Discussion" and they bring all kinds of spam and flame to my thread.
The fact you're even trying to discuss dangling an old-style galleon from a helium balloon communicates to me that you are in fact about 12 years old and have absolutely no idea how physics works at all. Also, good luck on finding a craftsman still able to build a 1700-1800s Galleon.
We're being serious by saying this is a dumb and impossible idea for you to accomplish.
Thank you. Now I'll just go and turn on my "impossible" internet and use my "impossible" personal computer to say that impossible is a word that I live by.
