Fuck yeah, Christmas! I don't know what I'm getting people just yet, but I might preorder my dad Diablo III since it's one of his most favorite game series of all time.
Christmas in my family is slowly turning into just buy stuff. My parents just gave us a budget of $500 each to spend on our presents. Also we no longer have stockings.
I'm getting some clothes for my girlfriend at this site called Fangamer. She loves Earthbound so I'm going to get her their Awesomeness combo.

I think I want to buy some stuff for myself here too.

Well, I was going to buy my girlfriend this cool replica Tardis thing (Dr. Who), but she broke up with me yesterday. :suicide:
Things don't get more christmas-y than Tivoli in Copenhagen.

My family doesn't celebrate Christmas anymore. My parents just give us money and tell us to go away, no Christmas tree or anything
I miss the feeling of opening presents and being excited about it.

Props to you and your girlfriend, I love Earthbound. I think I'll get myself a Starman Hoodie.
I still don't know what to get my girlfriend for Christmas...
Any general ideas of what girls tend to like for it? I've never celebrated it with a girlfriend before haha.
I'm a working man so I have cash to splurg on things, but I feel as though big gifts are a little too much at the moment since our birthdays were both a month/two ago, and we already got each other a bracelet/watch..
Apparently she's making me something.. But I handcrafted the bracelet I got for her birthday, so I feel like I should just buy the next one.
Any ideas?

Is she specifically "into" anything (i.e. a sport, a certain hobby, etc.), maybe you could work around that and find a gift she might like.
Oh christmas, you so white.
I just wanna know guys, what does eggnog tastes like? Milk?
It's like drinking cake batter, I think it's terrible but the rest of my family loves it. It's somewhat tolerable at our Christmas gatherings because it ends up being more rum than nog. v:v:v
I hate being the one in charge of gift-buying for the family, because I have to pick shit out that they'll like and I always fail in less than hilarious ways. The plus side is any money leftover in the budget after their stuff goes towards me, though that's usually less than $100. Enough for a couple boxsets, so I'm getting some Doctor Who this year.
I need a good website for hats, specifically beanies. Other kinds of hats are nice too, like Ushankas and such, but some nerdly beanies would be lovely.

It's a sort of creamy sweet substance with the slightest hint of egg. It's hard to describe, it's a very rich delicious drink but I have a massive sweet tooth and I won't drink more than a cup or two of it.

She does dance.. Ballet, jazz, contemporary. But otherwise, I don't think she's very much into anything. :/
My Christmas will be nice. Will be receiving my first real wage ever after a commercial project.
im a jew =(
have fun you guys
Dude bro, I heard that you get presents for nine days during Chanukah. That is like 9 TIMES the presents, amiright?
Oh and "YOU'LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT!"
Hmm... I'm lucky enough to have an extremely generous parent who keeps asking what I want around $300-$500 and I'm just fresh out of ideas. Perhaps I'll just ask for a new video card. Anyone got any good ideas?
As much as I love my truck, I don't need any money to be put into it yet.

Added. Also added etsy under the unique gifts section, because it is a very cool site.

Maybe you could buy her tickets to a jazz and/or contemporary concert or maybe even take her out dancing.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year.

Except for the depressed people.

Take her out dancing.. that sounds like a great idea! Thank you!
People around me really go crazy with Christmas decorations. These people have the lights set up to blink to the beats of Christmas songs that you can hear over the radio.

Just bought some Egg Nog. So delicious, I'm curious what it would taste like with Bailey's added, might have to try that.
I'm going to get myself a nice aluminium pole for this Festivus
Gonna cut ourselves down a real tree this year, like every year.

I wonder, in how many countries is this house-decoration thing so typical? You have to do some searching if you want to see a decorated house here.
I got my mum a blu-ray player and some movies/documentaries she likes. Trying to get a kindle now but they're so damn expensive :v:
It seems that egg nog is in short supply in England, the only place that sells it is a small shop 3 miles away from my house. :suicide:
I always wanted to try egg nog. I don't know any places that sell it here.
