If she likes to use the kettle a lot, it might be a fine gift but don't get her it if she uses the kettle like once every few weeks.
Obviously you missed that I am from the UK. Tea is drank by most people in my house multiple times a day so the kettle does get a lot of use.

Just try to think if there's anything you think she would get more out of. If you think she would really enjoy a new Kettle, then get it for her.
My birthday is only 15 days from Christmas so I'm only getting 1 birthday present. :v:
Psh, that's nothing. My birthday is the 26th. You can imagine how I feel, "Oh this gift is for Christmas and your birthday!" No. Fuck you. Give me more stuff.
Bought my girlfriend There Is Nothing Left To Lose on vinyl. :)
My grandma's birthday was near Christmas, so we always celebrated it in November or January.
Obviously you missed that I am from the UK. Tea is drank by most people in my house multiple times a day so the kettle does get a lot of use.
I used to be a nightly tea drinker now I'm all hardcore with coffee and Coffee Mate is a fine replacement for milk.
I never understood tea. I love coffee. Not for caffiene in the system purposes, but I like the taste.
What should I buy for parents this year ? (Nothing expensive)
Buy your dad a hardware store gift voucher and your mum perfume.
I never understood tea. I love coffee. Not for caffiene in the system purposes, but I like the taste.
i dunno, a fresh cup of green tea is pretty good though I do like me some black coffee in the morning
Haven't done any of my shopping yet. Still gotta get my sister that knit Kermit hat.
Happy Hanukkah! [editline]9th December 2011[/editline] In 1 week and 5 days
Finishing school on the 23th December is not cool at all.
I leave from cold snowy Norway to celebrate a traditional Christmas with palm-trees and sand in Florida as it's supposed to be the 17th.
im so cheap im using EL wires for my christmas tree yay
No snow yet in Wisconsin. Usually, there's at least a bit of it around. How's everyone else doing in terms of weather?
Finishing school on the 23th December is not cool at all.
i know how you feel.
I used to be a nightly tea drinker now I'm all hardcore with coffee and Coffee Mate is a fine replacement for milk.
I drink coffee too, but tea just tastes nicer.
I never understood tea. I love coffee. The weather here is a clusterfuck, it rains, it snows, it melts...
Light layer of snow at Chicago, IL. sucks.
I learned a valuable lesson today. When a seven segment display has two pins that are connected to a common cathode, do not hook them up to a dead short. Learning is fun.
I've done all of my Christmas shopping. Got my Mum some DvD's, my friend a game for the Ps3 and my little borther two nerf guns and some of the ammo for them. I managed to get myself Infamous and Infamous 2 for £11
On every street there's always that one house that is just plastered with shite, frantic Christmas light decorations. You know you can get those ones that are like snowmen made of a sort of neon tubing? There's a guy down the road from me who, every year, puts one of those on his roof. But like, right on the edge. Every time we pass it we crack jokes about the snowman being suicidal and yell "DON'T JUMP FROSTY!"
I seem to be the only person amongst most of my friends that are looking forward to Christmas.
It's a warm, sunny, cloudless day here in california Gonna get a tree today!
I have no idea what I want for Christmas.
My school also goes up to the 23rd, but I'm leaving on the 22nd to spend christmas with my whole family in Scotland for the first time (myself and my immediate family are the only ones who live in Canada). Pretty stoked, as we're also doing majority of the gifts on the 22nd.

Only thing I hate about Christmas is in the Birmingham City Centre they have this "German market" it isn't very German if you ask me. But it gets that crowded down their you get lost and can't find the exit. Plus so many drunk people that can't stand up because they're all their for the beer. Its not a very enjoyable experience.
