Maybe if the USA stopped spending so much money on pretty rocks to throw at other nations, imagine if 10 billion dollars from the military fund went into NASA.

same with other nations, war is overratted, you know, instead of spending 30 billion on getting guns to steal oil for energy, perhaps spend that money on tech like safe fusion and get 10X the power for .0000001 the fatalities.

By the way; even VY Canis Majoris is less than a dot.
First of all you can compare it to the milky way.

Then you can compare the milky way to the Virgo Supercluster.

Also if I recall correctly, our moon has a name other than "The Moon".
