Kookaburra's like to troll you. They laugh at you, eventually pissing you off.
Did ANYONE else here read the book on their own free will?
Just so it happens I just finished reading it in my English class, have to write an essay about the trial now.
I didn't like the book that much.
When they first told us we were going to be reading this book I instinctively thought it'd be boring and dull and very long, not to mention pointless.. But when you sit down and read it.. Tis not bad at all.

F-silly-K you, there goes the entire story.
Good book, the movie was shit though.
Way better than a lot of the other books that nearly every school reads. Lord of the Flies is the best "school" book though.
Love that book. Scared the shit out of me - but in a good way, not the His Dark Materials "what the hell is wrong with the author" way.
Animal farm is great and all but 1984 conveys the message better while being a much more enjoyable read.
1984 is a piece of shit and Animal Farm is much better.
We studied it so much in class, that it kind of ruined the book for me, was hard to enjoy the book as a whole when you spend so many lessons analysing the character relationships etc...
