That reminds me, some idiot left a note on my windscreen earlier saying I was a wanker, because I had parked too close to their car.
I wouldn't have minded, except I was within the lines (albeit very close to the edge) and the car on the otherside was almost a foot into my bay.
It was also an Audi convertible (the really badly parked car).

Passed on my first, drove a little Cobalt for the test. Fucking A/C was blasting my hands so it felt like they were gonna fall off.
Passed on my first, but the cop didn't like how I had to stop to make a left turn. I'm not sure what he was getting at, there was oncoming traffic; I would have had to hit them to make the turn without stopping.
Passed on my second. Where I lived, they didn't pass anyone on their first try. The points they took off were pretty stupid, too. There was a parked car right in front of a stop sign. When I came up to the stop sign, I failed to sort of angle my car towards the right a little bit after the parked car. It just so happened that that single move was worth 9 points (if you got 9 points (think of it as demerits,) then you failed.) :downs:

I'll bet you it gets just as good of gas mileage as quite a few modern sports cars.
I have a 1971 Impala with a big block that gets 12-14 mpg. that's considering a 5 ton car with a big block.

This. El Camino's are my dream car. I consider them a pinnacle of American engineering, as they have the utility and power of a truck combined with the style and speed of a muscle car. They win the competition for having the ugliest campers though. Shit is hideous.
