Just got word on the repairs to my focus I mentioned in the previous thread. £600 for repairs, the power steering was pretty much shot. Leaking hose and the bearings had gone in the pump. Parts were £500, £100 labour. Not bad considering pretty much the whole front end of the car had to be dismantled to get at it. The bloke doing it said he'd seen a couple of cars with identical problems at a similar mileage and age in the past week or two and that he reckoned that Ford were tightening up something in the motor too tight on the production line. He could be right, either way it's not too impressive considering the car is only 4 years old.
When upon dry land it be a Vaxhaul Corsa 1.2 arghh.

Hahaha I overtook a Porsche 997 GT3 in my Toyota Carina today. Holy crap I had the throttle maxed out, and my car could barely pass the Porsche. I bet the Porsche driver was laughing his ass of, but I did it!!
Carinas are now oficially faster than 997 GT3's!
