Ouch, tried the same thing in my car.
Cost me a new left front light assembly, left side mirror and front bumper,
I think the left control arm for the steering is bend too, since i hit a curb before plowing down that sign.
Does insurance cover that?

Jesus, sounds like it was a hell of a crash. Luckily theres nothing severe with mine, no chassis damage or nothing ( i honestly thought it would need jigging) just panel damage, gonna need a new boot lid and a rear quarter offside panel. No scratches or nothing was really suprised.
I had a spin a few weeks ago, whole 180 degrees stopped very near the kerb, but didn't hit it.
The same night about 20 minutes earlier we had to bump start the car as well.
Then a few days later my car refused to start, wouldn't jump start either, so I had to walk to work that day :(
Replaced the battery with a new one (the old one was original on the car, ~ 7 years old), and I haven't had a problem since.

My car. A 1992 Volvo 740 GL.
Rear-wheel drive plus manual transmission make for an awesome toy. I just love that car, spinning around on a snowy parking lot or drifting the ends of a horse racing track. It's also a tank, any new car vs this is going to get crushed in a car crash. Downsides include relatively high fuel consumption, but I can live with that.
It's absolutely freezing out here. About 10 degrees C below freezingpoint, and my car is filled with ice. I drive it every 2nd or 3rd day, and it starts every fucking time in first try. It's from 1990, I paid $300 (USD) for it, and it has 270k kilometers on the clock. It was a fucking bargain.
It aint no luxury cruiser, but it's a 100% functional car, I got for the price of almost nothing. Everything works perfectly fine on it. The exterior sucks, but engine is very well kept, and the interior looks as new. No major rusty parts either.
I know $300 isn't alot in the states, but it's even less for a car inclusive registration here in Denmark. As previously said, licenseplates/registration is insanely outrageously expensive here.
God I <3 my Toyota Carina!

Heh, we have an old 1984 Toyota Hilux diesel. If the battery has enough life to turn the engine over enough to compress one cylinder, the fucker starts. Always. It sits for most of the year until winter, but she doesn't care. Reliable old fucker.
Same thing with my 40 year old truck though, too =D But that's the fuel injection, so.

Hah, you should add the tires and post it.
Black Audi R8 sighting. No camera. :emo:
Talking of old BMW's I'd like one of these, if I had the money/motivation to run one and another car.

At the moment I drive a Citreon Berlingo van - slow, ugly, but cheap to run and reliable. I'm planning to get a second hand Alfa-Romeo Brera or 159 some time next year, because I love Alfas and because the new ones really aren't that unreliable - but you can get them for a decent price because of the unreliable image. Hell I generally dislike convertibles but I'd like a spider too.
I'd go and get one now, but I'm getting a new motorbike first. Don't kill me, they're just more fun and it halves my journey time to work.

What the fuck is wrong with the front bumper?
That Supra looks nice as hell.
Yeah, it's one of my favorite MKIII Supra's. Most of those pictures are from guys that live in Chicago. They have a car crew called Risky Devil, and they all have really nice cars. Check 'em out: www.riskydevil.com

Dunno, I pasted the wrong picture anyway. Although that one is still nice.
I'd cut off one of my testicles to own one of these in good condition.

Could be an engine swap, can't tell, but that's a 2JZ-GTE (Supra MKIV engine), not a MKIII.

If it's in a bad way, then welcome to Denmark.
