Going to look at a 2002 Land Rover Discovery Series II on Monday. The guy wants 5000 for it, Its only got 100,500 miles on it, which isn't so bad I suppose. No major issues, and we already have a 2000 model so if we have any problems, shouldn't be too hard to figure them out. It's fully loaded, jump seats and all. This basically like just like the one I'm looking at (though this model lacks the same interior judging by the steering wheel:

FP, fix your sarcasm detectors. I drive a Mazda 3, calm down.
However, FWD is better with snow/ice than RWD.

WHY?! Those things are nothing but trouble.
I think what Nissan did was clever. Because they wouldn't be able to satisfy all the fans, or potential new customers. In my opinion, the Skyline era was what we know as R32 GT-R, R33 GT-R and R34 GT-R. For diehard Skyline fans, the Nissan GT-R is ugly and huge, so if Nissan would have called it a Skyline R35 GT-R, Skyline fans would've raged, and new customers would've thought of it as that "japanese boy racer" or whatever they think of it.
But by naming it the GT-R and keeping the circular tails, it maintains it's pedigree, but is still a new branch on the Nissan sportscars tree. It's an international car, made both in RHD and LHD, and is a bit more "american" in its proportions. IMO, it's not a Skyline, but not a bad car. Infact I love it, just not as much as the original Skylines.
*Disclaimer; Ferosso is probably wrong but he doesn't care because this is his view on the Nissan GT-R family
What they did was clever, I just wonder what they will do with the Skyline name now. They better make a new Skyline instead of a new Infiniti G35. They're nice, but there needs to be a new R-35/6 whatever in the next few years.

Hey, looks like my edberg detector works.
The new Lexus LF-A looks awesome, but the price is a bit steep for a Lexus. I little too high. ~350,000USD

Hell, I'd pay that much for something that screams like that.
Too many curves

Lexus made that for pretty much the same reason Bugatti made the Veyron, To show they could, they're not making money off it. It's pretty much like they told the engineers "Do what ever you want to this thing, use any materials you want, take however long you want, just make it exotic."
As a PA guy I can tell you that either your speakers are cheap or the amps manufacturer lies about the wattage (It's most likely both) since 600W with effective speakers in a room as small as a car would effectively destroy your hearing. Even 100W would most likely suffice.
Car audio and PA/home audio are two completely different realms. I helped install a system in an escalade for the soundwave comp that ran 3 10000W XXVMAXXIMUS amp's running off of 15 batteries even if it only put out 1/4th of the listed power that's still 7500W

Pretty Princess.
(actually in australia it means provisional license, required wear from 17-20)

P plates (judging it's Australian by the Holden badge) in Australia are like a second part of a learners permit, where you don't have to be accompanied by a person with a driver's license.

Shit ninja'd. Also high five for not going Ford.
Australia always gets the best of the american cars, and gets all the JDM vehicles to. :saddowns:

I would hate having to put a sticker on my brand new car. My school made me put a parking sticker on my car (on the glass fortunately) and the building I'm in is in the middle of a corn field on an old army base. There is plenty of parking!!!! Just a crazy security department I guess.
G'day mate!!

You Australians still have the Pontiac G8 as Holden, and you get the Skylines.

Haha we don't get Skylines, we only just get the R35 and we import the rest privately haha.

Wrong, we buld the base model so yanks are driving a Holden that's just had a Pontiac badge stamped on it

Oh, and there's a fuck ugly grill change to make it look different

I think Pontiac has a little more long term potential than Holden. :v:
I disagree, but really I don't care about either makes

Well yeah, importing privately is what I meant. We americans can't import them without having to fear being raided, buttfucked, and having your cars crushed by the following agencies and administrations, Drug Enforcement Agency (Yeah, really,I'm not shitting you.), Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enviromental Protection Agency, and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Saw this outside service, Sentra SER with the front end ripped off. Intercooler!!!

Also that Conquest Knight reminded me of this Ford I saw at the Chicago auto show last year.
