Good... I though people would rate me dumb and disagree if I told him to shut the fuck up. I agree with your post, good sir!
FUCK YES i just passsed my drivers license! i'm oficially on the road!
I must be the only sixteen year old ever who doesn't give a fuck about remotely trying to get a licence
That's a shame really. When I was 16 I would've killed people to get a license, but I had to wait 'till I turned 18, like Zotic. IMO you should appreciate the fact that you're allowed to take a license at your age and just get on with it :v:
driving has pretty much become a chore once i realized i don't have anywhere to go.
my parents just keep sending me to the walmart thats 5 minutes away for groceries.
it's not p. cool

they pay for the car insurance and all the gas so in payment i do their grocery shopping.
related: my car insurance is higher than both of theirs combined o:

Well then you're asking for it

My car insurance for one year is just as expensive as my car.
I actually find it better if people are older when it comes to drive cars, because they will have a better knowledge about what's going on and so on. 16 years for driving a car is just.... too young in my opinion.

Well broski
Theres, the money for lessons, the money for registration, the money for getting a licence
And my parents sure as hell aren't going to chip in
so even if I wanted to, I couldn't
Plus they said they wouldn't let me drive their cars, or help me to buy my own
[editline]10:28PM[/editline]
And oh shit did I mention I can't get a motorbike either

I'm almost 17, been driving since 15 and a half and I've never hit anything, nor have I ever been pulled over or done something that would get me pulled over had there been a cop present.
I've had my license for a year now. The first 2 months I got pulled over twice lol, but no tickets or anything. I had to breathe in the alcometer both times though.
AHAHHAHAHA OH WOW
First day with drivers license, first parkingticket! :D!
I've had my license for a bit over a month now. In norway you gotta be 18 to get drivers license and 16 to practice driving with your parents. I'm 18 :v:
I've never hit anything, been pulled over by the police or gotten any ticket :buddy:
...yet :ohdear:
even though i never think of breaking the law while driving I always get terrified whenever a cop is behind me.

First month, i got pulled over 6 times.
Never did anything wrong though.
And 3 of the times, i had to do the Alcometer test.
I've never been pulled over since though :v:

It was essentially the same as that.
for being so small they are pretty badass :D
I'm not sure on power figures, but it's got a turboed 1.4L 4-pot sitting just behind the seats.

Please check off one of two.
(Hell no, fuck your shit - Renault)
I just asked my dad about it, apparently it's owned by someone round the corner who normally has it in a garage.
Another person a few doors down has a recently restored and painted Series 2 Landrover, a Triumph TR7 and an old Lotus Elan.
I want those cars.
Why is everything about the 3 series with you?

I'm aware these are different vehicles. Thanks for clarifying though.
We had one of the Mazdaspeed 3's on the lot, 265 hp. I'd consider buying one once I'm done with school, assuming I can find a job.
Are there automatic Mazdaspeed 3's? I *really* don't want to get a manual car, just for those lazy days.

No.
To be honest the only automatic car I'd ever get is a ridiculously overpowered V8 like a vette or m3 or something. Automatic 4bangers are just boring.

Meh, I just don't want to have to dick around with changing gears all the time. And if I want some more 'control' over my car on those energetic days, then, well, that's what the auto-stick is for?

If you're thinking about flaming this guy because of his automobile preferences, please don't. He seems to suffer enough in his life already, not being able to handle a stick and all. Cut him some slack.

Funny you should say that, because I effectively learned how to use a stick at the age of 9 on my parents' Lada and Fiat. I know how to drive a stick, but some days I just can't be bothered to dick around with a third pedal and a stick, specifically during rush hour where it's just repetitive as fuck.
But oh no, let's make fun of him because driving a manual is so HARDCORE.

Yeah but downshifting is really rough, you can't exactly rev match or heel-toe on downshift. It always jerks as it forces up the revs. That and the delay.
[editline]06:33PM[/editline]
Not to say that all slapstick auto transmissions are like that, but most of them are.
