Guys i need help, my dad brought back home a pair of 4' speakers, but my problem is i have no where to mount them in the front, since the speakers in the front are 3,5' and i've got these pocket like things in the door sides of the Golf Mk2..
Any suggestions?

Pop off the door lining, and see if you can modify the old speaker mountings to fit the new one's
I could fit 6,5 one's in my Corolla and the stock one's are 5,25.
A quick 5 minutes Dremel job.

Umm, yeah but a Corolla isn't like a Mk2, The speakers in my mk2 are built in the dash front, and they are 3,5' and you can't make the holes bigger, and in the doors there is no room for them, but i think i've found a way to modify the pocket things, they're made out of plastic so i could possibly make a hole for the speakers so they fit, and then draw the cables from the other connection.

Eventually mount a pair of 6x9 speakers in the rear deck, if you haven't already done that.

It was the V10 and all, but, it's still damn good off road. It's fast, German, reliable, and comfy as fuck for long journeys. Which I do, alot. And nothing feels better than driving on a long stretch of highway with the window down, shades on, in a black SUV.
