I strongly disagree. It's a nice car, and I like the lowrider stance, but the rims don't fit at all. Maybe some badass Kleemann rims would fit it better.

To that i agree, but still as a low rider i love it. Also, i would love some AMG wheels on it maybe instead.

What is a cheap, good, reliable first car to get? My step dad said i should aim for a ford escort or an old Golf. I've got 500 bux aprox "5000 swedish kroners" to spend.

Golf 2. Loads of parts for those type of cars, and shouldn't be expensive in insurance either..
Btw, i'm looking for a car too, so i'm just listening to here..

Yeah, you cant go wrong with 90's and even 80's Volkswagen or Toyota. Very reliable and sturdy cars, and often cheap.
The cheapest car my stepdad could find to insure me with was an old Beetle.
Oh boy.
Honestly, i just came so fucking much

Also, I found a 240 I want even more than the last one.

That, or a old Toyota Corolla, (anything up to the E100 series, everything after is shit.) just make sure there's no rust at the important parts of the structure, and get it pava/dinitrol/tectyl/whatever coated after you've bought it.

Thank's for the tip, tho i don't want any jap cars. Maybe some old datsuns but other than that i'm not to fond of jap cars. but still, thanks for the info :)
I'll check out the Golf II GTI or some old ford mondeo.
More tips would be nice

Do it right, and they can be Road rockets.
I love the Golf II GTi. A guy I knew owned a black one in perfect condition, it was amazing, I loved it. I really want to get one, the initial cost wouldn't be too bad I don't think, but the insurance would cost a bomb.

Problem?

Sure, it's a cool car and all, but living on an offshore UK island, it's going to be pretty hard to find one and transport it here.
Why can't you find a local car that's cheap to insure then? :\
Problem?

I was SO close to buying one that was completely renovated, except it was painted in a eye-raping orange color.
Wish i did :sigh:
I love the VW Beetle, I wish I had one :byodood:
But I'm happy with my Volvo :3:

I'd love an old 240 Turbo to hoon the fuck out of.
I got my mustang down today.
Did a burnout yesterday and the throttle got stuck wide open in second gear.
Got it off the trailer today to back it into its new parking spot and it backfired out of the carb and caught on fire.
Rear windows don't work.
No front lights work.
Fun :D New project, Yay!
dad just ordered a new carb for the camaro! all thats left after that are the brakes! I can't wait :D

Like what? :v:
I don't know where you live, that's for you to research.
I don't know how your insurance works, it hurts my little American brain.
Like what? :v:
Peugeot 206 is a decent car, doesn't look like a turd on a turd in a pile of puke, and should be fairly cheap to insure in UK (if that's where you is?)

Was that supposed to be sarcasm?
