Just listened to it, sounds like what ACDC woud be without powerchords. Now I see why Back in Black was so successful!
Huh?
I like Eminem's older songs, most of his newer stuff isn't that great.
Amy Winehouse did an album called Black In Black? [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] Just listened to it, sounds like what ACDC woud be without powerchords. Now I see why Back in Black was so successful!
Unbelievably on topic :v: But yeah, great albums.
his recent stuff = not great
The other being Mac Miller.
BHAHHAHAHAHA. no.
Eminem's best song has to be "Till I Collapse", listened to it too many times.
BHAHHAHAHAHA. no.
Hey Mac Miller is pretty good
I've always found Eminem to be a genius lyrically, easily one of the best out there.
Eminem is who got me into rap. it is indeed my favourite rapper, not because hes white, but just cause. which doesnt mean i dont appreciate jay-z, kanye west and so. But lets be honest, kanyes lyrics and wordplay are not as complex as some of eminems (not saying eminem is the best in word playing), still kanyes last album is awesome and i listen to it quite often. What draws me back to eminem everytime i hear one of his songs is how he has changed along his career. he used to be that funny guy who would diss anyone and get away with it, but realized they didnt like him but who he would pretend to be, as slim shady, so when im gone marked a point in which eminem decided to get fame for himself, meaning, a different style. in relapse he kinda tried to go funny without acting as slim and some people didnt like it, now he made a serious album showing he is still great. its actually a storyline and i love it, he always puts emotion into what he spits and i just dont give a fuck what people say imma keep listening to him again and again
I dunno I found Recovery a little pretentious. Maybe I need to listen to it again.
On another note, i have sometimes found myself rapping a verse from a song in recovery in my mind and noticed that i ended singing another song from that same album, i think its because they have the same or similar tempos

I think Not Afraid is one of his all time worst songs.
Yeah, I really liked I Need A Doctor, Skylar Gray (Grey?) was perfect in it too.
The thing he's missing from the new album, and what keeps it from being great imo, is Slim Shady. It's just Em on the album, you need a mix of "both of them" to have a truely great album from him. And I think Asher Roth's ok.
I like Eminem, but I really don't like that newer single "We Made You". Shit's just not fresh, that's about all I can say. I haven't heard most of the other tracks off that album but I remember most of them were at least a little better than that one.
I can't really manage to say how late this is.
That it's not a good song? We're two pages in, cool it a little. If people already said it, I'm just lending a semi-popular opinion a little strength. Oh shit, make that 3 pages in, jesus christ page 2 is so fucking yesterday. We can't even talk about this anymore.
Fuck Eminem's new shit. His old shit was waaaaaaaaaaaaay better, in my opinion of course.
I think Not Afraid is one of his all time worst songs.
All time worst song is a stretch, I thought that was one of the better on Recovery. Besides, he has songs like this:
It's funny how he's the "Best rapper in the world" yet he doesn't write his songs all on his own.
You forgot about mac lethal :v:

Yeah. MMLP was his best. Ever.
It's late because we made you is a fucking 2 year old song and you're calling it new
Give this man a cigar.
Seriously though, I don't like new eminem, his only fan base here in australia are 14 year old sluts that think his lyrics are 'actually deep and sooo amazing'

Besides, he has songs like this:
Good song and good album, a little under-appreciated I feel. :smug: I'm sorry if that opinion wasn't to your liking. That youtube video has it's bass completely pushed up too. Not pretentious, simply charismatic. Fair enough, I easily get this song. But it feels he's trying to forget how crazy he actually was with this album. We can talk about Relapse being beyond outlandish, but I still liked it.
I wouldn't say his older stuff is better than the new tough. Still prefer everything before The Eminem Show.
You prefer his old stuff, yet think it's worse. :raise:
