i have to say the only thing that pissed me off about the first part of the finale was
[sp]how mako causally tries to hook up with korra. Its almost like he's oblivious to the fact that Asami exists. And it isnt until the day after that they have the few second dialog between Mako and Asami basically breaking up. Its just silly how at moments it seems like the romantic relationships are going to be so important to the plot and or characters (like when Asami snapped at Mako about the tea and giving mean looks during the team avatar thing) and instead end them so abruptly with almost no closure or change. Sure Avatar was shortened, but they couldve done a better job making it meaningful and add to their characters instead of making it seem like nothing happened in the first place (bolin getting fucked and Asami getting dumped). I originally heard that this was a one season thing, and if it did well they'd do another season (with a different avatar). Recently I've heard that this isn't just a single season. What is what?

Ya know, if I was making an insanely popular TV series and I was making a creator commentary thing, I would air it directly between 2 seasons to keep interest up. Does this mean we might get another series sooner than we thought?
Or do I just have no idea how the TV business works?
I think the reason that Korra could airbend was probably because all her other bending was blocked, so when she tried to bend, she inadvertently released air "chakra" or whatever.
Think about it, there might be 4 different centers of chakra, one for each of the elements, and Amon had never tried to block Air, since there's only what, 4 airbenders in the world, and he hadn't gotten around to learn it.

Are you forgetting that only like a few minutes before that scene he was planning on removing the bending from the last 4 remaining human airbenders?

I know, I just mean that Amon have never tried to block Airbending, so he wouldn't know how to remove it. He could probably figure it out, given some time, but he only blocked the three other elements, thinking she was out of the game then. If he had already practiced on the other airbenders first, he would have taken hers too.
